MIDA by Chef Douglass William's is now open on East Boston's waterfront. Our James Beard Nominated restaurant group is situated directly on the edge of the pier with panoramic views of the downtown Boston Skyline. The restaurant is surrounded by the water on three sides with a massive patio that is perfect for date night and large groups at all hours of the day. Vaulted ceilings, sprawling windows, and a gorgeous lighting profile make this location the perfect destination for all occasions. The setting couldn't be better. Our waitress was hustling but I think had too many tables to provide adequate service. The food- particularly the spare rib lasagna was good but not as good as at the South End location. A little dry. Based on our experience with the other MIDA locations- we'd definitely come back here as well. But I wonder, are they spreading the kitchen talent too thin with so many locations?

Came a little late but mida staff made sure we got seated got our food & drinks. The service was amazing & how fast they served us was great! Food was 10/10! Will be returning again.

The service was phenomenal! Only matched by the incredible food. Then there is the view. All worked in perfect harmony. Gunner was our server, the lasagna was recommended and worth every bite. Thank you! I will definitely be back ( probably tomorrow 😂)

I love Mida. However, the service was subpar last night. I requested a seat with an ocean view because I was dining with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We were seated in a section that felt like a regular night out. We also had two waiters at one point which was weird. It would be great for customers to know upon arrival if accommodations cannot be met.

Mida was fantastic tonight- we were a little early for our reservation- after a minute of indecision by the hostess. It worked out to get to our table. From there everything was incredible. My mom didn’t like the wine she ordered and they brought something eat better- meatballs, prosciutto and ricotta app was amazing, salmon, roast chicken, and lasagna all amazing! Highly recommend!
