Mi Cocina at Casa Natalia
Excellent food, ambiance, and service. Food prep was a bit lacking compared to previous visits. The salmon and lobster on the “lasagna” was a bit over cooked. The pork chop was also over cooked and turning dry.
Great for all meals
Menu greasy and delicious
Food poorly prepared menu was boring no flavor to the food
Wonderful return visit!! Not to be missed. Delicious lobster and salmon ravioli and special Sea Bass of the day. Key lime pie rounded off a delicious meal!
Looking forward to returning with family again in April! Superb!!
Wonderful food. Great setting. Very romantic.
My wife and i went there for Valentine's day. we had a 6:30 reservation, and, though the restaurant was virtually empty at the time, we had to wait for our table. the service was good and the food delicious. the wine list is horrible, both in terms of selection and price. for example, it had on it a $15 bottle of red i can buy at a grocery store marked up to something like $70.
Delicious and fairly priced dinner in the beautiful courtyard of the Hotel Natalia. The service was only average. Once we got our main course no waiter came back to check that the food was
Fine. We were abandoned by any waiters until it was time to order the dessert course. We were also annoyed that the neighboring table required a heater on a beautiful evening. Their heater was cooking us. Very uncomfortable.
This is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful boutique hotel right on the main square in San Jose del Cabo. Long time owners, chefs with some European Mexican flair and fare coming from the kitchen. Everything was delicious, spaced appropriately, wine was good and fairly priced. We mentioned it was an anniversary and they recognized with a delicious dessert comped
Our absolute favorite ever time ! Amazing lunch and dinner - delicious menu, outstanding service and beautiful restaurant. Sommelier Ricardo is very friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend the shrimp tacos, the pork chop, the flank steak and tuna
Excellent food in a lovely, quiet, small setting with excellent service. Good cocktails, too! Had several breakfasts there as well as dinner. It's a gem!
Major disappointment. I don't remember having worse service at any "upscale" restaurant. The first person to approach us was the wine steward with an incredibly overpriced wine list. We declined. Still no wait staff to greet us, no water, no nothing. Finally... order a hibiscus martini and all it was was a glass full of some fruit juice puree, it was thick and syrupy. By then no appetite, ordered spring rolls that came out deep fried beyond recognition and then tried the quesadilla appetizer, again a deep fried mess, did not resemble a quesadilla I had ever seen. There did seem to be a table captain/manager but clearly they were not watching their staff very closely. Top that with a $30 taxi ride specifically to eat there and the evening waste of money and effort.
Return visit on our first night back in San Jose del Cabo. Excellent, as before.
Nice courtyard seating away from the bustle of the Art Walk area. Great value and quality of food. Very knowledgeable sommelier and glad to have chosen some Mexican wines which are starting to challenge the quality of the heavily stocked California and, to a lessor extent, French and Italian, wines. Ample seating for either a large party or an intimate party of two.
Delicious dinner before the Art Walk!
No había más postres a las 20h30. Fue una decepción . Los platos son caros con respecto al resultado.
Most interesting outdoor restaurant I’ve ever been to. Courtyard setting is comfortable size; defined yet large enough for the broad shouldered.
Courtyard make of tortillas over wood fire stone grill fills the space with aroma of hardwoods.
The best meal of our entire vacation! Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant as well as the beautiful hotel! Such a charming atmosphere and great food! You MUST try the B.O.B. spoons!
Mi Cocina is situated in the beautiful Casa Natalia Hotel, we absolutely love this hotel and the restaurant too. The food is exquisite, inventive, healthy and so delicious, wish we had something like it in Los Angeles. Lovely surroundings, great staff and reasonable prices even in a luxury setting, can't beat this place.
Excellent food, presentation and service. Our waiter Francisco was wonderful!
We have been happily dining there for years. This was the best experience to date. The grilled caesar salad with roasted garlic was so wonderful. Our group had the seafood ravioli, fruiti de Mari, tequila shrimp, all superb. The service was fantastic and we love the intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
Always wonderful spot on cooking. Risotto had perfect texture. Service was great. A little warm for dining in hot weather months since seating is outside. My only quibble with the food was the “crab” in the BYOB spoons. It was not real crab but the crab sticks but still a tasty bite.
Second time there. Both were fabulous food and service are excellent will definitely go again when in town
This place is a little hidden gem in San Jose Del Cabo. The food was spectacular and the service was very very good, as a side note we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant that evening so the service might be different on a more crowded night.
Amazing food! Great service
My very favorite restaurant in San Jose del Cabo. We've been coming here for years and brought friends here this time, who were new to Los Cabos. The tasting menu was superb and offered a lot of variety, and was a very good value. It was a nice finale to the Thursday evening art walk.
I loved the food and the grilled octopus was cooked perfectly. Will be back!!
Wonderful as always. Can’t wait to return in November!!
Food and service are unmatched. Octopus was phenomenal and should not be passed up! Amazing experience for any night, but they really know how to go the extra mile for special occasions such as our anniversary.
Great restaurant in Cabo San Jose. I reccomend it to all the tourist going into the town.
This gem has become one of our favorites. We’ve come here every visit to San Jose delCabo and this time didn’t disappoint!
Great food, service, ambience, desert and coffee!
See you next time!!!
Great happy hour specials. My wife loved the quesadillas with we're made right in the dining room. Great ambiance.
Delightful restaurant with great food but a bit pricey.
Mi Cocina is special to us as we stayed here (Casa Natalia) and dined frequently after they reopened following Hurricane Odile which devastated the area. Since that time, openings and re-openings of newer establishments rival the food here, although the serenity at Mi Cocina is hard to match. The location is ideal for a romantic getaway. Unfortunately, the government has virtually destroyed the (once) beautiful plaza in favor of a newer edition... which is taking forever. That construction results in much construction dust and debris immediately outside the entrance.
Todo en general bastante bien pero exagerados los precios. Los Ostiones Rockefeller secos y no muy buenos. El restaurante estaba vacío...
Wonderful food in a magical outdoor, yet private space. Every appetizer, starter and entree was wonderfully prepared and presented. All ingredients were clearly fresh and local. Recommended.
Lovely setting for anytime. We chose to dine at Casa Natalia for Christmas dinner. The appetizers & salad were delicious but we were a bit disappointed that the oysters & salad were served together rather than as separate courses (as ordered). Entrees were tasty & well prepared but did sit a bit to long and we not as hot as they should have been. The service was very good.
Excellent dinner. All five people in our party thoroughly enjoyed our food. Highly professional service. Unique dining experience that shouldn’t be missed.
Whoa- where do I begin? We had no idea what to expect and everything was above and beyond. The drinks, food, service, atmosphere... it was all great and the perfect way to end our trip. We’d recommend this place to everyone!!
We first came here in 1999. It was fabulous then in every way. It still was when we were here a few years later. AND IT STILL IS. If anything, the food and service is even better now. The ambience provides the most romantic dinner setting we've ever experienced (and we are experienced diners/travelers). It is perfection! The octopus is almost beyond perfection. WORTH EVERY PENNY and then some.
Have wanted to go here for years. Glad to finally experience
