Family friendly, lovely food and very friendly staff.
I have been to Mezze several times and always enjoyed. On our recent visit very disappointed. Service very slow. Did not have chosen wine and was informed they are in the process of changing wines. I did overhear staff saying a chef had not turned up. My fish was not fresh, chips hard and when my husband eventually got his prawns he also was not sure they were very fresh. The waitress tried her best and did take the prawns off the bill but we certainly would not rush back. Incidentally there was only 6 people in restaurant so not busy.
96 pound for a sharing platter for two and two glasses of white wine, overpriced
Excellent food and service
Lovely staff and fab seating
Fantastic quality food at reasonable prices
Better places to eat Mediterranean food in Glasgow but it was tasty. Prices take advantage of hydro location
Chicken souvlakia to share is 2 skewers of chicken thigh meat, tasty but £10, no flat bread or anything served with it, just 2 skewers. Tasty but overpriced if they are trying for a tapas type experience
Food amazing as always. Seafood Saganaki is incredible. Good service and friendly staff though it wasn’t too busy when we were in this time.
Lovely little place. The food was delicious and the individual portions were generous. The only drawback was that the sharing plates were a little on the small side.
Stat for are always very attentive and helpful. We always enjoy a meal here. The only problem is that on a concert night your choice is just the pre theatre, although ok and they remind you, it's not got the choice.
Food menu was so small no much choice .. small plates ..
Fort time visiting Meade. Staff on duty were patient and helpful. Food lovely. Wine choice good. Great atmosphere. Will come back again.
Fab pre theatre find! Definitely will be back soon!!!
Really enjoyed it but would have limed a bigger choice - only pre theatre!
Always our place of choice when in Glasgow for concerts
Great location if you're attending an event at Glasgow Hydro. Setting is lovely, food and service were incredible.
We visited here before a concert, it was busy but you didn't really notice. Food was nice enough. Reasonably priced. would go again
Rushed, in and out in 40 mins! While i know this was a busy night, with events at the Hydro, we had an hour and a half slot before table was needed, no break between starter and mains! Portions were poor. Chicken Tava! Chicken in gravy! No veg no potatoes, tasteless dish.
I have mixed feelings about Mezze. The staff were very friendly and helpful, certainly. We were there for a pre-theatre meal, and were offered the small menu for that. I asked for the main menu, to be told that it was not available at that time as the staff would be very busy in the pre-theatre run up. Actually, only about 5 tables were occupied when we left at about 7, having been there since 5.30. The lighting was VERY dim, making it difficult to see the food. The food was fine, not outstanding. My calamari were cooked well, but had not been drained on paper, hence they were oily. My fish stew was quite tasty, and the pitta bread lovely and soft. The yoghurt and honey had been sitting out for too long, so the yoghurt was not very cold....a mixed bag, really.
Excellent service from a very friendly waiting staff. Food delicious We will definetly be back
Came here through an Itison voucher - absolutely loved it! The restaurant has a nice vibe with three different types of seating and athmospheric mood lighting. We managed to get one of the booths at the window and had a few across the clyde. Would definitely come back again, its a great date night or catch up with friends kind of place!
The food tasted really authentic and the staff were lovely - all a bonus!
Will be back.
Pre gig dinner for my daughter and I.
Great location just across from SECC. Service was great, food delicious. Will be back 😊
Beautiful food, fantastic secvice, and a great view!! We will be back!
Appalling attitude from manager who expected 80 year old woman to eat at high bar stool, even though we had booked weeks before the event
Loved the food. Great service. Would recommend.
Third visit to the Rotunda , but first visit here . Loved it and this will definitely become our regular eating place before a show
Food was great, place was clean and well decorated. Reasonable prices, service was ok too, but was disappointed not given dessert menu.
asked for some drinks whilst waiting no one took our order. eventually managed to get a waiter but after 15 mins still nothing so left.
We did not have a good experience. We had booked for 6pm, arrived early but had to wait till 6.25pm to get a table. I think there was a staff shortage. However the staff were doing their best. The food was good although we were not relaxed due to our plans to go to a concert. Maybe if we were not time restricted it would have been a more pleasant experience
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit ahead visiting arena...perfect location. Staff extremely friendly and helpful (even after I had to ask to move tables for comfort!). Food superb and perfect choice for pre event meal. Would heartily recommend
The pleasant staff and surroundings were otherwise spoilt by the poor quality of some of the food. My main dish Chicken Souvlaki Had a lot of gristle( the connective tissue found in ligaments) which was stretchy and tough to eat. The chopped onion accompaniment was too big and the flavour was far too strong( eye watering). Starters and desserts were actually very good.
Great food and quick service. Perfect for a pre theatre or pre concert food.
We decided to try here before visiting the Hydro. Was quite quiet when we arrived, looked lovely surroundings. We were seated immediately, and served promptly. We had a pre theatre menu, there was a couple of veggie options, I had halloumi salad which was lovely. We were finished in good time for the show. Would return
Very nice pre theatre menu. I had booked it for mezze though, but they don't offer that on concert nights. Waiting staff were brilliant. A nice little restaurant which I would use again.
Great place for a meal before The Hydro
Nice atmosphere, good value.
Went for Pre-Theatre meal. Food delicious. Only downside was no Cocktail list!
Was really looking forward to the dinner however the restraunt was cold. The A La Carte menu was unabailable leaving a very limited choice. The noise blaring up from the lower floors of the rotunda spoiled the whole atmosphere of the experience. Food was delicious however Just Eat orders seemed to be getting precidence over rrstraunt clients
Went before theatre but did the a la cart menu ( with a little persuasion) great service and lo Ely food in a nice atmosphere.
Food was delicious, service was really attentive and helpful with the menu and letting us taste wine before deciding on a bottle, good location pre show, overall really nice meal.
Really lovely restuarant in nice setting its just a shame the food is mediocre and on the expensive side. We had 2 courses for £19.95.
great pre theatre dining before show . good value and good choice of courses on menu. the view from our table was amazing. relaxed and enjoyable experience , looked at the full menu and it would make me want to return for more. car parking is free you just log in your reg no. and you can eat then go to the show and return for your car at no charge. the lift wasn't working properly and when we mentioned this at mezze the reply was - again ! might of been a problem if we couldn't manage the stairs to the top floor ! but enjoyed our meal and the view and would go back and recommend to friends.
Thought it was ok but not brilliant. Menu was limited and thought the service was slow even though it wasn't busy. It wasn't bad in any way but wasn't good enough for me to go back
