   Mi familia y yo fuimos a tomar el brunch este domingo, el ambiente estuvo muy agradable y la comida deliciosa, nos encantó el pork chop y el steak, los sabores estaban muy bien equilibrados.

   We decided to celebrate my daughter’s birthday early. We were in the area and had recently stumbled upon this restaurant. Looked on open table to see if there was availability and was able to make reservations to be seated in 20 mins. Got there! We were seated promptly! We waited a long time before anyone ever came to our table. Server apologized for being busy and not seeing us. We ordered drinks and queso! Those were both excellent!! My youngest daughter ordered from kids menu and we were charged for her drink that came with her meal. Oldest daughter ordered shrimp tacos and the shrimp were burnt and she didn’t really tell me until she had already eaten one taco so so I felt by then what do you do. Felt like food was just ok. It was not very warm. Server was sweet! Told us about the restaurant and the history. Would likely be back for happy hour at bar but not to dine.

   They took way too long to seat our party even though we had reservations. They seem short on help, or else the staff has not been well trained for service. The food was not that tasty, and my order was not correct. There are many other better TexMex restaurants in Houston that have better food and service. If they do not correct this, they will not last long here in my view.

   Marquis was a phenomenal server! From the time we entered the restaurant, he was engaged, well versed with the food and drink options, and attentive to our needs. Marquis acknowledged our birthday celebration and initiated the dessert and song! We all enjoyed his enthusiasm, hospitality, and overall service!

   First time here and it did not disappoint. The service was great and so was the food. I got the pork chop and it was the best, it had a bit of a spicy flavor that was good. For drinks I got a lemonade which was also good, you go to other places to eat and ask for a lemonade and they give your fountain lemonade but the one from here wasn’t , it was actually made there and it was really good

    Marquis and his trainee were very good. He helped us decide on the quesadillas. Food was fresh and delicious. Margaritas were great. We will be back for entrees.
