Love this place. Simple and easy- making it perfect for good conversation over an excellent dinner.

Great experience for my birthday. It was amazing, the food, the service, all of it~

The food was delicious and you get a good deal on the meal itself but the dessert was very expensive and they charged us $17.99 for a side of fries for our 2 year old. Other than that we enjoyed our meal. The steak and fries with sauce was fantastic. The restaurant is very loud but that’s just the vibe there. There’s really no food for kids. It’s a brunch place for adults there is no kids menu. Overall I will return I loved my meal just a little pricey for some things.

When you call to ask questions, you aren’t reaching the restaurant!

We have been going to different medium rare locations for a long time. During COVID, like many people, we prefer to dine in covered tents. I called 3 different times to make sure that we could be seated in the tent that is advertised on the website, Yelp, etc, and that the tent is closed on the sides/heated. The latter would not be a typical criteria, but it was very windy. I was told three different times, by different employees that we could sit in the tent and it is covered (including sides) and heated. When we got there... no sides or heat... and the wind was blowing over 20 mph. It turns out my calls were being answered by a call center that didn’t know the setup at this location. So, despite not really being comfortable with it, we had to sit inside. The staff did seat other tables away from us, and were apologetic. This should have been a question that anyone in this organization should be able to answer, but it was not the hosts fault.

Once we sat down the server was very friendly, and the food was great. The music was way too loud. It seemed to go down when we asked, but then kept going up and down. Staff didn’t seem to know if they could control it.

Bottom line: the things that staff at this restaurant could control went really well. Anything controlled by “corporate” failed at every turn (bad info from call center and apparently not trusting staff to control music volume).

We've been to Medium Rare many times, but this trip was a special one! And our server, Nicole, made it all the more comforting, hospitable, and fun for us to celebrate our special occasion. We'll be sure to come back again and again for the most dependable well-cooked steak and well-timed service that we've found in the DMV.

Everything was great. I go to Medium Rare for a good steak and am never disappointed. The only thing that could be better - the bread is hard as a rock and the butter is also hard/nearly non spreadable.

The steak and fries were subpar for the price. It was served in strips with unimaginative fries. The apple pie I got for dessert was a reheated frozen pie (or so it seemed).

Just very good. Basic and well done.

Best brunch spot in Arlington! It was our first time here and the staff was amazing. We will be back again!

Our group of four had a great Easter brunch at Medium Rare. The food was delicious and the service was great. We would definitely go back.

We went for Eastern brunch, the food was not well prepared, seems fine in a rush. The poached eggs were almost raw with the withe part completely running.

The service was amazing and the food was so delicious. We felt well taken care of the entire evening. We will definitely return and recommend other to attend as well.

Delicious food, but skip the mushroom dish. The salad course was unexpectedly amazing! Carrot cake was flavorful and moist. If you’re wanting steak frites, that’s what they do, and they do it quite well.

Will be back again. Glad we found this place. Fixed menu, so it's real easy. Sit down order your drinks, tell the person what temperature you like your meat, and sit back and enjoy. Best part of the whole experience like some others that have posted is the surprise 2nd wave of food. For overall value its A++. Plus the food was deelish and the dessert was awesome. They serve good wine and our wait staff was very friendly prompt and courteous. My wife and I got their before 6pm on a Tuesday night so depending on your party size, the day and time I am sure your mileage will vary. Regardless, the best part of the whole thing for us was the bill. A wonderful value that left us full and wanting to come back. Thank you!

Overpriced for what you get. We could barely get ahold of our servers attention all night and had to get up and track him down to get attention - ended up going to the host to grab our bill. Portions are adequate at best and the servers didn't seem to know who ordered what temperature steak, even though it's written right in front of them on the table. After our second serving, the server who came around to see that we had our second serving was almost aggressive in taking away our plates. Overall a terrible experience.

Oh my goodness. My fiancé and I had seen this place before, and we wanted to try it. We ended up getting reservations on a Friday night and I am so grateful that we did. There is a reason that their fixed menu works. That steak was amazing. I ordered it medium and it came out perfectly medium. I wanted to try it medium rare, and I was bummed that I didn't order it medium rare. BUT to my surprise you get seconds! I ordered it medium rare, and was beyond stratified. So happy we came here.

The steak was good, not great. The service was less than attentive which was surprising given it wasn't very full. The wine and stemware were lacking in quality and choice. Glad we tried it because they get fantastic reviews and the owner is doing great things in the community, but we won't be back.

Birthday celebration

Very quiet atmosphere since we were early in the evening. Good service and consistent food makes this place a go to for our family.

I was so excited to go for the first time, but I was let down. The host was rude and quickly dismissed our request to move tables even though no one was sitting there. Even though we made a reservation, we were thrown into a very small cramped dark corner where I barely had room to move. The food comes out fast, but it almost feels like they’re rushing you out. It was hard to relax and enjoy it. The service was good, but you could barely hear what they were saying because it was so loud and the masks made it hard to hear. I will say that the food was delicious, and you do get a second portion. However, the second portion of steak was a lot tougher than the first.

We went to celebrate a birthday, and they tell you that they can bring a dessert with a sparkler, but they don’t tell you that they’ll charge you for it. Usually restaurants are generous enough to provide a dessert since you chose their restaurant for such a special occasion.

I am not in a rush to go back. It’s a little pricey for what you get and how fast they push you out.

We have been customers since they just opened and we have always felt that the food and service were great until now... Although the food was excellent, the service was terrible. We were ignored for 20 -30 minutes until we finally paid the check and left. Although we will eventually go back, it won’t be for quite a while... Terrible Service!!!

The French toast was to die for, the steak was unexpectedly covered in gravy that had a gritty texture. We were really there for the mimosas anyways though, so not a huge deal. Waitress was great, kept the bottles of champagne coming all through brunch.

Everything is always wonderful. They need to bottle the gravy and sell it on the side. The only issue I have is the kids charge. It should be half of what they charge for adults.
