    Excelente restaurant. De lo mejor en Tucson. Lugar muy agradable y romántico, y la comida exquisita y a precios accesibles. Martes Vino por botella a mitad de precio.

    Muy padre restaurante, bonita decoración, excelente comida de muy buen sazón y porción, precios razonables, bonito ambiente, terraza muy agradable con música de DJ, ubicado en la vieja estación de tren del centro de la ciudad.

    This was our first time at Maynard's and unfortunately will probably be our last. We had tickets to a show and informed our server of this right away at the start of our 5:15 reservation. She said she could course out our meals and have us out between 6:30-6:45. Sounded perfect. Then everything went wrong. First, it's a small menu and we were informed they were out of the mussels appetizer and the duck cannelloni. We started with a round of cocktails and then placed our full order with another round of drinks. Our oysters and beef tartare arrived. Our drinks did not. It took 28 minutes for us to get our 1 martini and 1 glass of wine which were ordered to drink with our appetizers. When those drinks arrived I ordered a glass of wine, presuming it would take awhile. I then still had to ask for my glass of wine a second time. We shared the special salad that was supposed to come with bleu cheese which had no cheese. We had to ask for the cheese to be brought out. We then sat waiting until 6:30 when our waitress said oh what time is it and then went to check on our entrees. We got them at 6:35, got our bill while we were scarfing down our entrees and made it out at 6;47. Definitely no time or mention of dessert. Overall our waitress was sweet and some things weren't her fault. But do not promise to course out our meal if you cannot keep track of the time. And please get another bartender or get rid of your craft cocktails if they are taking that long to make since that was the excuse we got as to why the bar was backed up.

    We went here for a birthday dinner. The service was amazing and the chef accommodated dietary restrictions wonderfully. Will definitely come here again for another special occasion.

    The waitress forgot to put our order in. We had to leave to catch a show and it was too late for the kitchen to prepare our orders. We left more hungry than when we arrived.

    Great food and perfect cocktails. Lovely atmosphere and the staff was able to get us in and out quickly to go to the jazz show that night.

    Our experience at Maynard’s was exceptional. We had tix for a show nearby, and were able to valet our car for the whole evening. Our server Lily was attentive, intelligent, and graceful. The menu is creative beautifully executed and presented. We absolutely will come again.

    We had a reservation ona Saturday night and were seated immediately upon arrival. Parking in that area of town can be challenging. We used a city parking lot, but they charged a flat fee for six hours (which we did not need). Food was good. We had the beef tartare which was very good. My duck breast was lovely. My wife’s chiopino was somewhat salty. They have a nice wine list with some pretty expensive wines. Overall a good experience.

    My first time here. I loved the fact that Maynard’s capacity was not large and how the noise level of their elevated bar kept that chatter from integrating our table talk below. Even though this restaurant is in the Amtrak station, it felt cozy and far from a, hustle & bustle environment. Service was excellent and friendly. Price point: Reasonable for their menu offerings. I’m a salmon person which means it’s my go-to when eating out. The salmon entree was to die for! The braised cabbage with a slight fermented flavor and sliced parsnip were the ultimate pairing to the best prepared salmon I’ve eaten. And that creamy celeriac puree as a base, brought the entree to perfection. If the chef doesn’t change the menu, I’ll be treating myself to the same entree.
