   The food & drinks were awesome! We had a seafood sampler, crab cake, halibut, and tuna. But it was Kyle who really made our night so special. We are your average middle-aged full-time working parents who don’t get out too often. We left our kids at home for the first time without a babysitter and were in town for a comedy show. We were late for our reservation, but finally made it in, feeling a little frazzled, a little rushed, and finding it hard to relax right away. Kyle changed all that. He set the vibe, suggested some entrees, and was super attentive. Overall, it was a great date night! Thanks to Kyle for making such a great memory for us! We really appreciate the fantastic service!

   As soon as you enter you are greeted with a warm welcoming vibe. There is warm lighting and the booths are extremely comfortable. Our server, Jackie, greeted us with a sincere smile and her service was superb. We ordered calamari to start which was generous and delicious. The complimentary cheese biscuits with butter drizzled with honey were yummy. Our meals were excellent, shrimp scampi for my husband, salmon for me and we ended by sharing with the dark chocolate mousse cake. All in all, a very relaxing and excellent dining experience! Highly recommend!

   Server was little slow (wasn’t busy). They were out of 3 things we ordered, the bottle of wine I chose from the menu was 3 dollars more than what it was listed for on wine list, the fries we ordered were like warm (not hot and fresh), I’m a big fan of the max group but will not come back to max tavern.

   We celebrated a graduation this weekend and Jamie was amazing , very attentive and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend for a larger group, food was appropriately portioned and amazing!

   Overall not up to “Par” - much of food arrived cool or Luke warm. Also, was over 2.5 hours - too long - seems service and kitchen team were not up to handling large crowd and special menu. The tenderloins were delicious and arrive at a good temp - however, sides were cool. Thanks - Lee Kirk

    Food was hot when served and everything was delicious. We had 9 people in our party and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server Chloe was amazing! Our bill was very reasonable.
