   Go for the beer, the view, and the fantastic guy playing guitar and singing. Service was good. Food…, well, go for the beer.

   We had reservation for lunch. The hostess was not very welcoming on our arrival.The wait staff were very good however. Our lunch was fair the calamari and fish and chips were overbattered for our taste pulled pork sandwich was so huge hard to eat as a sandwich. The beer and beer flight were very good.

   We went for Happy Hour to check out the beverages and snacks. The atmosphere was that of a standard bar and, surprisingly, it was only half full. We ordered drinks and then we ordered a of couple items off of their shareable‘s menu for the happy hour appetizers. For me, both the steak nachos and the chips n guacamole didn’t have any flavor. We watched quite a few people be served the hamburger entree, so it must be pretty popular. We weren’t ready for dinner, that early in the day, so we didn’t taste any of their entrées. The server seemed very transactional, so I’m not sure that I would go back again.

   My wife and I had high expectations of this Maui Brewing location after visiting the others (and previous experience at this location as the precious eestaurant). The power went out while we were there - thats the usland for you, but the service and staff was excellent to handle the abnormality. While our evening was cut short, we didn't mind. However, the food was only mediocre, and not at all the culinary experience we had at other MBC locations. Overall, only 3 stars given the food and price. Really want to rate higher but currently not worth it. 😕

   The host was thoughtful, servers were attentive, food was delicious, entertainer was entertaining, sunset was beautiful, diners were friendly…thoroughly enjoyed it!
