Food beautiful- especially steak

Stunning meal with the vista enhanced by the thunderstorm over the hills. Attentive but unobtrusive service. My partners request for a slight alterations to her meal due to allergies was quickly resolved and overall the evening was wonderful. Thanks

The Italian waiter was nice but nobody asked us to refill the water, nobody came to ask for the dessert (we waited a long time), the food quantity was small. On their website they offer a vegan menu but they don't do it any more. Very noisy.

It has been quit some time we dined at the Matilda Bay Restaurant and our lunch was fantastic, service was amazing, will be back there soon.

Amazing cray on the bay & service superb (thank you Sergio). The view was spectacular too.. lovely little spot.

The only issue was the wedding party, didn’t affect the meal but the male bathroom was a disgrace, half a dozen half full beer glasses on the counter

The birthday dinner was a success the drawbacks being the proximity of the next table which was up a level and my wife’s main course which was duck breast and quite bland; the garden salad was not remarkable. The rest of the food was very good and the addition of a birthday confection welcome.

It was the second year we returned for the Crayfish Special. Delicious but much too SMALL.
Negroni was the best. Thankyou Sergio.

Had to continually ask for water to be refreshed. First glass of water was warm. Asked for salt and an empty salt shaker was eventually delivered to the table and then had to be taken away and refilled. Main meals arrived, chips about 5 mins later. Person at the front counter and taking $ seemed disinterested.

Great restaurant that has fallen away in recent years! Bottomless brunch was mediocre at best, the entree seemed like a filler and the selection of mains didn't blow me away.
Disappointed there is no chardonnay included in the ironcloud wines...

We found the crayfish dry and the summer salad at $24 dollars was VERY unsatisfactory
a few tomatoes and some fruit.It is a shame because we did go every year to the Cray on the bay

What a lovely evening, watching the sun set over Matilda Bay and watching the the city sky line light up. Service was excellent, every request taken care of, and the food was delicious, Well Done Kitchen Crew, My hubby and I will be back, this was our first visit but wont be the last

The steaks at Matilda Bay restaurant are second to none!

We came for the crayfish as we had it last year when the special was on.
This year it still tasted wonderful but was smaller in size. A little disappointing.

Matilda Bay can always be counted on to provide a consistently great meal, but this last visit was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. It was the perfect night, thank you to all staff!

Love Matilda bay however I received the wrong main meal I ordered snapoer and got salmon I didn't bother to send it back and I hardly ate the salmon salad as it wasn't very nice! my husband had the Cray and said it was nice my highlight would have been the granola at the beginning which also had me a little confused as it seemed like more of a dessert than a starter? Also the fries were lovely.
. overall it wasn't amazing which was disappointing as it was Valentine's day.

A beautiful setting on the water looking at the boats in the marina. Matilda Bay is our favorite restaurant to take our special friends and to celebrate our milestones. The food is always good and the service is excellent.

We had the Bottomless Brunch. I chose the crispy duck on a waffle. Delicious. I had a bone left in one piece. My girlfriend had the croque Monsieur. She wished she'd ordered the duck.

Service was excellent and the ambience cannot be faulted. We had the bread for starters which was delicious. We both order steaks - Medium / Well which came out medium. I had to send it back. And also medium which came out medium rare. Luckily my partner is not as fussy as me . I thought the steak lacked a bit of seasoning overall. We would have had a dessert however nothing appealing to our taste in the menu. Still a very nice place to visit for a meal. We have been several times

Simply the best lunch we’ve had in years. The food was amazing with sumptuous portions and the service was excellent. Acoustics not the best when it’s busy but can otherwise highly recommend.

The staff were aware and responsive to the purpose of my luncheon which was to meet my grandchildren and give them information on various family topics.

Our waiter Sergio was amazing and very accommodating.

Excellent food and service. Premium location with uninterrupted views over Swan River.

The lamb was bad more like a meat patty. The duck was over cooked like about being cooked three times. Slow cooked should be soft and not over cooked.

A very lovely place to eat. Beautiful views across the river. Food was a little heavy for brunch but overall a great experience.

Expensive for fish n chips. Would not do bottomless menu again
