Our server was horrible. Barely came to check on us. Didn’t offer to refill our water. I had to ask for our server several times. This was likely because gratuity was included because our party was large.

The decor was nice and location very convenient. It was moderately busy for the Friday lunch time. The Pentagon location is my go to.

We appreciate being able to sit at the patio even though it was quite cold. Our waiter was very helpful and made sure the heaters were on.

Brought my appetizer timely but then sat and waited for my pizza for over 30 minutes (a thin crust that normally takes 7-8 minutes). The hostess came over and said they “forgot” to put it in - so I’m not sure if it was the server or the kitchen. It wasn’t clear what happened, but either way, not a great use of time and disappointing. She asked if she could “bring me another appetizer” and I was dining by myself. SMH… but yet did nothing on the bill.

Food was good! Waitress was good! A person at our table didn't get their food because it was given to another table and then received his food when the table was done eating 20min later and wasn't offered a free meal, just a sorry.

This positive review replaces a poor review I gave last month. Service was fantastic. They added some new good food items to the menu. I observed how attentive the Manager was to the adjacent table. The bathrooms are clean always a good sign. The place was hopping and the waitress was able to handle it. The slow paced daytime waitress was either gone or off. Made for a pleasant meal. Drinks replenished and I was able to leave timely when I was done. Keep it up! This is my family’s Go To restaurant in this tourist area!

Matchbox delivered an excellent dining experience when my wife and I met up with a friend. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy. We tried the Fig + Prosciutto pizza and the Bacon Bianca pizza, and both were simply outstanding. The Fig + Prosciutto had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, while the Bacon Bianca offered a rich and satisfying flavor. Overall, it was a memorable meal, and we’ll definitely be back!
