Masala y Maiz
Amazing meal! A must for any visit to CDMX.
Great place. One of my favorite restaurants in Mexico City.
Loved the food, the combinations and interactions between the mexican and indian spices and flavours.
This a restaurant to repeat.
What an amazing experience. Masala Y Maiz was by far my favorite dining experience in Mexico City. (and we ate at a lot of very nice, expensive, fancy restaurants). I had the pleasure of talking with Saqib and was overwhelmed with his warmth, passion, and care. The food was both beautiful and delicious. When I come back, I will definitely return with friends. Thank you!
Great flavors, dishes were very naunced. Lots of balance. Interesting combinations.
Best food in Mexico City and the Indian/Mexican fusion flavors explode in your mouth
This is my second time visiting Masala y Maíz. Not only was superior to my first visit but the menú kept evolving and the wines are superb. I recommend visiting this restaurant and embark on a culinary tour that will re-educate your palate. I cannot wait to come back.
Simply the best dining experience, in every respect, during a weeklong trip to Mexico City. The fusion cuisine works here. The atmosphere is relaxed and sophisticated.
Great place and food! Everything was delicious and all the staff was really friendly and helpful. Chef suggested wine to go with the food and was even better! Overall great experience :D.
Incredible and unique
Insanely good! Best best best meal. Can’t wait to return. Very special experience. Not to miss.
Exquisite food and service!
The food was unique and delicious, clearly created and served with care.
Very unique best meals I’ve had in a while
Delicious fusion food. Staff were a little pretentious and basically ignored us for most of our meal. Chef came out to see how everything was and was the redeeming factor, told us about where he was from, the restaurants backstory, etc.
Una grata experiencia, desde el ceviche hasta la jaiba pasando por el pollo.
Lovely aesthetic, creative and delicious approach to creating new food experience, AMAZING wines.
Creative menu and great service. Fair price for what you get. I thought the food was good and fun, but not great. I had the esquite, which had a wonderfully flavored broth, but the corn was bland and tasteless. I also had the Uttapam, which was creative, but the overall flavor was dominated with sour from too much tamarind combined with the sourness of yogurt.
I would recommend checking it out if you like the idea of Indian food with a Mex flare, but if you skip it, you will not have missed anything. So far, I have found it more successful to stick to Mexican food while in Mexico.
They had us waiting for the table for half an hour telling us each 5 minutes that in 2 minutes the table would be ready, very frustrating. They took the time to explain almost all the wine list, that was nice.
The fried chicken is recommended but not spectacular.
Todo exwlwnte en general muy bueno
Lovely food and service. The dishes are unexpected and innovative. A great experience overall.
Recommended by our hotel concierge and we were not disappointed. The owner/chef helped us navigate the menu and curated a feast accompanied by some off the beaten path adult beverages. This was our #2 favorite restaurant of the trip, behind Pujol but ahead of Quintonil.
Cocina muy creativa.
Phenomenal food with delightful staff and a truly superb wine program. Seguro que vale la pena.
Absolutely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Mexico City. It's a newcomer to the scene, so hop on it ASAP before it becomes unbookable. The food is great, the ethos is sound and the owners are wonderful. Can't recommend enough.
For those visiting CDMX this was one of my favorite restaurant experiences. Great service with knowledge staff and great vibe. Small and quaint. The fact that there are only ~6 tables in 1 room makes it feel pretty exclusive. Go for brunch!
incredible food, flavors, ambiance, and all around experience. totally unique in the CDMX restaurant scene and incredibly memorable. The service was warm, welcoming, very attentive, and made the experience that much more enjoyable. You can't go wrong on the menu - order it all and get desert.
Unbelievable experience. Definitely worth checking out when In CDMX. Food and service were top notch.
Really great food! Outstanding seasoning and fusions!
Nice but a little pretentious
What an outstanding mix of flavors, ingredients and traditions! Food was delicious, wine was original. Service was excellent.
Food was amazing and our server was attentive and super nice. The room is gorgeous and chic.
The food was flavorful and blended Indian/South Asian and Mexican flavors delightfully! The wines were really good. The presentation was spectacular. And the service was wonderful.
Food is amazing, best restaurant I've been in Mexico City.
Service is excellent.
The food was outstanding and the service was even better!
peaceful oasis in the city.Delicious and unexpected food
Everything was delicious!!✨
