We moved here from Lexington Kentucky, where Malones started years ago, one of our favorite places to go eat. We were so excited when we saw a Malones was going to be built in Chattanooga. The new establishment did not disappoint, it delivered on everything! We went for our wedding anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile and handed a Happy Anniversary card, very nice touch. The wait staff was excellent, everyone that came to our table wished us a happy anniversary. The food was absolutely delicious, can’t wait to go back!,

We had our 29th anniversary this past week so stopped in for an early dinner. Everything was excellent!

Our server, Summer, was wonderful. It was our 30 year anniversary and she made it a very enjoyable afternoon. We were late and they were more than accommodating to us, we will be back. The food was amazing! I had the 12oz file Oscar style and my husband had the 10oz file also Oscar style; delicious! I also had the Malone’s margarita; perfect. Thank you again Summer for a wonderful meal and day❤️

The overhead lights kept fluctuating - going from really bright or dim over and over. It was very distracting and frustrating.

Overall bad. Will not return. We all ordered appetizers and entrees. Fifteen minutes after ordering, the waiter came back to the table to ask if we wanted the appetizers before the entrees or with them - strange. It was another 15-20 min before the appetizers arrived. Everything is over-salted. Beef Carpaccio was almost inedible due to the visible layer of salt. When I mentioned this to the server he said it was salty because of the capers. This was not the case. When I repeated that it was over-salted and pointed to the layer of salt, I was ignored. Brussels were over-salted. The steaks were not tender and also over-salted. I like salt, but this was over the top. The Salmon was over-salted and was swimming (literally) in butter. The entire table never received the salads before the entrees came out. Didn't bother asking for them. We were seated in the bar area despite having a reservation. It was so loud we could not carry on a conversation. Upscale prices, but not an upscale experience. Far better places to go.

We first sat at the Bar in Harry’s for hors-d'œuvre and a cocktail. A bit loud, but everything was perfect. Then the hostess seated us for dinner - nothing short of spectacular. My wife had the Fettuccine with Blackened Chicken —- I had a Filet with a Baked Potato and the Lexingtonian Salad - fantastic. Great place - a welcome addition to Chattanooga!

So, for only being open a couple weeks, the staff had the rhythm down. We waited 15 minutes past our reservation time, so that was disappointing. We also waited in excess of 15 minutes for our cocktails, which felt really long. Our team of servers, Zach and Noah P., were nice young men — affable, attentive without being obtrusive. Noah made confident recommendations and went above and beyond. The food was incredible. The bread is crusty and wonderful, and the compound butter served with it is savory. I asked if they sell tubs of the butter. Unfortunately, they don’t. Hopefully, they will. The Lexingtonian salad (chopped lettuce, tomatoes and bacon with house made ranch) and the apple blue cheese salad had us grinning ear to ear. For my main, I selected the twin filets Oscar with the Gruyère potato croquettes. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the wood-fired flavor lifted them over their equivalent at Ruth’s Chris, in my opinion. The croquettes were delightful with a crisp exterior and pillowy interior. They were served with that same ranch, so it was a wonderful collision of Europe and America. My wife had the filet with the crab Rangoon roll with a side of Mexican street corn. She was very pleased. My only criticism would be that our steaks were a bit on the cold side. Maybe sat in the expo window a few minutes too long. I can chalk that up to only being open two weeks, but it was a small issue in an otherwise awesome dinner. Two cocktails, two entrees, one with an upgraded side and one with an upgraded salad — $126 before tax.

Beautiful restaurant. Impeccable service and reasonably priced food despite the upscale quality and atmosphere. This will be our new special occasion restaurant.
