Welcome to Luka's! Nestled in the heart of gold country we are located on 35 main street in historical Jackson, just minutes away Award winning wine country, Kennedy Mines and blocks way from Amador County museum, Jacksons Historic Fire House and Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. Luka's has a casual atmosphere indoor dining with a sunny patio dining in the warmer seasons. We have a full bar with 12 drafts and signature drinks, a diverse selection of local and California wines. Chef Abe Caterson and his team are well known for their seasonal dishes as well as our every day dishes that include choice steaks, creamy pastas, fresh salads, and hand made pizzas.

Would definitely go back again, all in all yummy food. Steak arrived well done instead of med-rare. Expensive well done steak :(.

This was our 7 year anniversary, the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We had a table with an great view of downtown Jackson. My partner had the seafood pasta and I had the chicken penne pasta dish. Both were amazing. For dessert we had the pumpkin crème brûlée, so so good. We highly recommend Lukas.

We live in Jackson and find ourselves at Luka's because it's the best dinner around. Outstanding service and always something extra yummy as a special. The wait staff is great and we love Abe the chef.

Liked that could make reservations online. Staff followed-up with phone call to confirm. Service friendly and professional and food delicious.

Like everywhere else, a little pricey keeping the middle class away more often. But the food is great! Again, for a non-fancy wine drinker, wine is pretty high priced.

In fairness, we were unable to dine at Luka's so this review is not based on food, but the lack proper business etiquette. I was planning a Birthday dinner with my friends and made a reservation for 7 people, July 29th. Opentable took the reservation and later confirmed it with an email. We live about 45 minutes away so we all piled into our RV for a fun night. Before leaving, I called the restaurant to confirm verbally, but got no answer. Their answering machine told me they were open and that they were too busy to answer the phone. So the seven of us make the 45 minute drive to Luka's, only to find the restaurant was closed when we finally arrived. A sign in the door said "Closed for maintenance". Luckily for us, the Sutter Creek Hotel took us right in. Service Excellent! Food Excellent! $500 dollars later we were full and happy! I called Luka's the next day and talked to the manager. She was apologetic and offered to send me a coupon in the mail. Guess what? No coupon ever arrived. Sorry Luka's, that's a fail.

The special pork 3 course meal was fabulous! Especially the pineapple cake!

It was a good night. The restaurant was full but the Staff seated us quickly, and our server was attentive. Food and drinks were excellent. We plan on returning

We had the brussel sprouts and she had the gluten free pasta entree and I had the burger and fries. Service was great. Pricing was good. They made sure that the Brussel sprouts were not crossed with gluten. Very happy!
