Luca West features high-end modern Italian served in a classy, Tuscan setting. Diners will find many of their favorite dishes that made Chef Luca’s Italian Cuisine such a grand success in downtown Cleveland. But new to Luca West are a number of unique menu choices that will become new favorites, for our new friends on the west side of Cleveland.

The wine program at Luca West meets the standards of the most adventurous wine fan, including our globally expansive list of wines by the glass.

    Not sure if a server was training or had a bad day but she wasn’t very motivated about being there in general, didn’t give us specials (we heard another table that other server told them), brought wrong drinks :( We didn’t complain or anything, it was my moms birthday, so wanted a good experience for her. Food was ok, mostly just one noted, no significant flavors. I’d recommend to go just one time only for the experience.

    Food was delicious. Services seemed slow, especially since there were only a few tables with patrons. Would go back to try other items on the menu.

    I have heard many a good thing about this restaurant, but my first impression was far from good. When I got to the restaurant I was told that our table would be open soon for our reservation as they were very busy. I was then told that the reservation I made for the outdoor space was not happening because of the temperature. I can understand this, however, when the restaurant has my contact information for my reservation and they are not opening that area of the restaurant where the reservation was made, why was I not notified before coming? I then had to wait almost twenty minutes past my reservation time before being seated, and approximately another 20 minutes before even being approached with menus by our server. After we were finally able to order, we watched our food walk past our table, both appetizers and entrees multiple times before being set in front of us. Luckily the food was good, because not once were we checked on in case of any issues with the food. The last complaint is that while having dessert, I overheard a different server telling the table next to us about the special entrees for the night, we were only told about the special appetizers, which I would have ordered if they would have been offered. Overall the absolute poor service outweighed how good the food was and gave an abysmal first impression to me.

    The truffle soup was amazing. I got the scallops that were huge and delicious. My husband got the ribeye special and the sauce was so good! The patio was beautiful

    My wife and I were there for her birthday Sunday, 1 September. We ate on the patio for the first time and dinner was excellent. My wife had the grilled veal chop with green beans and potatoes, which was delicious. And I had the special which was veal Parmesan bone in with tagliatelle. Our waitress was Lily. She was on point very personable. Just a very, very happy and delightful person.
