The venue has reduced its dining size with a cured meats room down the back, and extending the bar which creates a more intimate dining experience. As always, delicious food and amazing service. I’m very happy to have LP’s back. (Please bring back the pate!)

Bitterly disappointed with the revised menu. I was looking forward to the old classics like the short rib, porchetta, chorizo or blood sausage. The new sharing menu was unappealing and overpriced. If the menu would have been available online prior to booking I wouldn't have made a reservation.

Great food. Small plates to share. All of it was delicious. the pickled mussels were a highlight but all the food was delicious. Great staff. Very attentive. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food! Even the sides are Awesome. The Porcetta the the bomb! Definitely have the crispy lettuce and the corn cob. This is from a person is not fan of salad and corn normally!

Absolutely shattered this amazing restaurant is shutting, my friends and family loved this restaurant.
The staff are the foundation of this great establishment, the food also keeps us coming back for more and more. Good luck with the new venture, we will be back to Bella Brutta to support again

I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while, decided I should go prior to it closing down. Such a shame I didn't go earlier. The food was outstanding with the rib eye on the bone a perfect blend of smokey dry aged flavour that married well with the mash and gravy. The service by Nick was exceptional with excellent guidance for first timers. I would encourage you to go there before they shut.

Fabulous. You need to be a fan of meats as the name suggests but the food is rustic yet made with some serious talent. Home made (by that I mean ever made your own salumi over several months anyone?) and delicious. I wanted to eat the whole menu so I'll have to go back. The staff are wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. It is loud so be prepared to shout a little but that just adds to the fun.

The Entrees were great, the Porchetta had a great crackling, but was a little fatty ... The Rib Eye also seemed 25% fat which was disappointing (especially when paying by weight!), but was excellently cooked.

Overall a little expensive $400 for 4 with 3 entrees and 3 mains.

The rib eye steak was amazing, it paired really well with the creamed spinach. The service was fantastic and the recommendations for dessert were spot on (try the bread and butter pudding!)

This is my second visit and was slightly disappointed that the sirloin was overcooked and the sides were burnt.
I was introduced to LP's when I came here a week ago. I was very impressed with the food then, particularly the sirloin steak.

Fantastic dinner, absolutely black magic what they manage to do getting such a stunning Smokey flavour through the meat while at the same time keeping it super moist. Can’t wait to come back.

The Smokey meats and amazing flavors of every course we had in the banquet blew our minds! Definitely best value and way to go to try lots of their dishes is with the banquet if dining with four or more people!!

I booked a birthday dinner for my boyfriend at LP's, who was very happy with his 900g rib eye steak to share between the two of us.
The service on the night was fantastic, our server was very helpful. I have a dairy allergy and found her very helpful with what could be adapted on the menu to suit.
Overall a really good night.

Great food and wine, easy to book.
The only thing I found annoying was the several reminders about how long we had left in the sitting. I get the business idea of the 2 sittings but it so takes away from the occasion it would make me pause and think before going back.

LP's simply has delicious food. Don't expect particularly innovative pairings or avant-garde presentation: instead expect well cooked and truly savoury meats that will be incredibly satisfying. While meat is what most people expect here, LP's also serves fantastic BBQ octopus. Over the years I've had two different BBQ octopus dishes here, and funny enough both my partner and I come back whenever we are craving for that octopus.

The main attraction here is meat, as you would expect. There are several different options available (portions are large, so to try them all you'll need a larger group), all of which are good. The surprise standouts for me are the sausages and chicken. Alongside the showier beef or pork options on offer, LP's more affordably priced sausages and chicken options are wonderfully full of flavour and pair well with the three sauces on offer. The smoked prime rib has a smoked flavour and is very well cooked; however as it is served in a very thick slice there is the potential to bite into very large chunks of fat (this issue is avoided in more traditional thin slices of prime rib).

The restaurant is dark and often buzzing with boisterous groups: this could be a positive or negative depending on your preferences. It is excellently suited for a get together with the mates or family, but it can be difficult to hear your dinner companions if it is a busy night or if you don't talk too loudly.

The meat was all as good as can be expected- and that is exceptional! The carpaccio starter was the best I have ever had and the rib eye was cooked to perfection- juicy but charcoaled and crusty on the outside- amazing!

The waitstaff are that type that send the cost up (in a good way), we had too much food (but got a doggy bag) and too many drinks! Also recommended a great bar for us to go to after so all things were on point.

We sat at the bar and it was a cold night, al the only downfall was that every time the automatic door open, we got a cold gust of air, so we were quite cold all night.

But that is minor when the food is this good.

Want to go back!

We booked for a relaxing dinner after arriving from Brisbane. Plane delayed and we arrived 10 minutes late at 8:55pm. Staff were very understanding and catered to everything we asked for. Food was again very tasty. I only wish there were more restaurants similar in Brisbane.
