We made a reservation but was unable to get there. First, Google maps takes you to the otherside of the river down a dirt road which is not correct. Then after asking several people in town we get to the main turn off near a gas station on the opposite side of the river over the bridge with intermittent signs directing you to the restaurant, but after about 1km of turn we got to a road which is literally the river bank with fine sand 2-3ft deep. Our car got stuck. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET THEIR DURING THE NIGHT & if you’re not driving a 4 wheel vehicle. It was a miracle that we were able to reverse our car with both of us pushing & get out. Needless to say we decided not to go!!
Open table should be really clear about the hazards of getting there! Really wanted to try it but another time!!
Muy bueno todo y bella location.
El pollo ns gusto mucho y tb los vegetales
Best place to eat in Baja Sur
Very nice Resturant. Great views of the farm. Food quality excellent and fresh.
Be prepared to travel a few extra minutes on a dirt road. No big deal.
Great food, excellent staff, beautiful setting
I got sick, really sick, something with the food was not ok.
Place is really nice but service was not the best. I would say definitely expensive for what you get.
Amazing food service and location. Food was super fresh and everything we got was outstanding. Highly recommend.
Such a pleasant experience! Benjamin at the bar was so charming and crafted the best basil margarita and sangria I have ever had. All personnel so friendly and the chef and owner checked in with each table. Small, quaint and delicious. I had the baked monkfish and my husband had grilled steak both delicious accompanied by fresh and wonderful vegetables. Do not miss the guava pie!
Such an incredible place run by genuinely nice people. Serene, peaceful & calming, with the most delicious food I've eaten in years. Will be thinking about this meal for a very long time and hope to go back soon. Thank you Los Tamarindos for looking after us so well. We loved every minute of it.
Delicious FRESH farm to table food . Gracious and hospitable staff..incredible ambience...a delight for the senses!! A must while in Cabo!
The restaurant is beautifully situated above the valley where all the produce is grown it is very peaceful. The food was outstanding, as was the service. I would thoroughly recommend it for a very pleasant dining experience.
While we ate the restaurant hosted a group of 20 who were loud and disrespectful. After the group finished they spent an hour running through the grounds and being obnoxious. The restaurant should have talked the group. It felt like we were in downtown Cabo instead of a tranquil farm.
This was clearly a special place but there was no one available to tell us about the history of the place. The food was good but I asked for the Snapper special and I think I was actually given the Tuna special. I think we just felt a bit neglected.
Delicious farm to table. Only negative was the road to get there! Will definitely return. Yummy zucchini rolls, cáprese salad and Cornish hen.
Enrique consistently creates amazing dishes that we love. The family style menu allows you to try all of the flavors of the menu.
A bit of an adventure to find but really not too difficult, and kind of fun in the process. The restaurant is a delight to see and dine within. It has the charm of old Mexico combined with sophisticated food choices and an interesting wine menu. Dining on the covered terrace overlooking the tastefully and interestingly lit growing areas at night only enhanced our experience. The service was first rate and the added harp and drum Cuban style music was intriguing. You don’t think of the harp as a Latin salsa instrument, but the duo that night made me a believer. In the end, it’s all about the food and in my view it was excellent. The menu is limited to a few select dishes and each of the four in our party had something different. Everyone reported that their meals were excellent.
Wow! Double Wow!!
Hard to find - but worth it.
Note; tips must be in cash (USD or Pesos)
Great concept, mediocre execution. Beautiful setting, attentive service. Small portions of mediocre flavors at rather high prices.
We had a great time enjoying the rustic casual farm ambience. With wonderful views of the bountiful gardens and mountains off in the distance. The food was simply delightful and our waiter was informative and especially attentive. Well worth the off the beat ride.
Nice setting, but a long way to go for hit and miss food and service and for what they’re charging. Chile relleno was flavorless, requested salt. Eggplant rolls were cold, sent back to be redone and just tasted ok. Octopus salad was fantastic. Cheviche hardly had any fish. NY strip was outstanding. Waiter seemed annoyed by gringos....not a welcoming vibe. Too bad.
We have visited many times and always come back to quality on every level. Thank you!
Delightful place. Casual, fresh and totally worth a try.
Great food great location!
Fantastic, special evening.
Most of our dishes were good but not all. The menu is quite limited and the fish dishes were somewhat bland. The sirloin steak was outstanding and by far our best selection.
My favorite spot in Cabo for a quiet and special evening...fresh food, great service..LOVE IT!
A bit challenging to find at night but worth the adventure. Grilled octopus was outstanding and the veggies are fresh from the farm below and very tasty.
Fabulous setting and VERY of the Brayan track but well worth the drive .... love it👍
Excellent food and service
After a short trek down a few dirt roads we reached Los Tamarindos. It’s not too far from the beach. It took us 30 mins from our resort. This concept is a nice change of pace from the beach resorts when you’re in Cabo. I would recommend it for any occasion. I prefer it in the daylight because the scenery is so pretty on the farm. It is also good for vegetarians, pescatarians and meat eaters. Several good options. The mezcal and tequila cocktails made with fresh on site produce, herbs and juices are a must. After a few light dishes we finished it off with some delicious flan. The vibe is so chill. I loved my entire experience at Los Tamarindos. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Cabo.
Wonderful experience from beginning to end- truly a gem worth seeking out!
Under cooked chicken twice
Asked for medium rare steak. Received medium well
Spent 12 days in the southern Baja area, and was looking forward to a “special” New Year’s day dinner at Los Tamarindos. Food was good, service was the worst of the 12 restaurants we visited while in the area. The waiter was inattentive, the order was wrong, and the entire experience was over-priced. Will not return in future visits to the area.
Beautiful setting and wonderful food. Great for a special occasion, but also appropriate for a family dinner.
The food and atmosphere far outweighs the adventure required to reach Los Tamarindos. Outstanding and perfectly cooked octopus and pork shank. The salads and soups were also amazing. Just follow the signs from the Marina. Apple maps will try to kill you.
We spent my birthday at Los Tamarindos - it was absolutely beautiful and delicious
