Took over an hour to get entrees. Ordered pitcher of margaritas on the rocks, but they brought frozen. Ceviche was mostly romaine lettuce.
Good ambiance and great music. Attentive wait staff. Delicious queso blanco and chili con queso, both of which are hard to find good versions of in DC. Shrimp enchiladas were tasty as well. Despite good flavor, the beef in the fajitas was variable - some pieces delicious, others tough and stringy. Biggest disappointments were the pico de gallo and guacamole served on the side accompanying the fajitas - the pico was mushy and the guacamole was starting to brown. Both tasted at least a day old, maybe more. This native Texan is still searching for good Tex-Mex in DC.
Excellent food coupled with attentive, friendly service made for a very enjoyable dinner with friends.
Kind staff, although they came I frequently. The drinks were mediocre but food was terrible, sadly. Not one dish the eight of us ordered was good. Most of us left much of the food on the plate and we're not foodies.
Fajita de pollo was delicious and the rice was surprisingly yummy.
I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a few people's drink orders and then left for over 20 minutes before we flagged him down to take the rest of the table's order. For food, we had to tell him we needed to order. He then took 4 orders, walked away, and wouldn't come back. Once we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to finish ordering, he forgot he had taken the first few orders. He finally took a few more orders and left, once again not getting to every person at the table. Overall, it ended up taking 2 hours and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused as to what was happening during our entire dinner.
Great experience! Excellent food and service! Highly recommend.
Too loud. Salsa is meh.
Great margaritas !
We had a very enjoyable Saturday brunch. The Sangria was refreshing and the tacos and enchilada were tasty. The decor was appropriate and the staff could not have been nicer.
It was horrible. We never got to order. Waiter never came. Chips stale. Had to walk out. It was hot inside and stuffy and smelly. Horrible.
The food was just...bad. I had chile relleno, a steak taco, and a chicken enchilada and all three were bad. The passionfruit margarita was fantastic though. And my friend said that the other two times she had eaten there it was much better. But I'm not going back. Except for maybe for another passionfruit margarita ....
probably the worst service I've had. Server was absent and took 2 hours from the time we ordered for our food to come out. Also charged us for the wrong drinks and wouldn't change.
We had a reservation it took them 1 hour to get our table ready. It was another 45 minutes before someone took our order, then they got the order wrong. The food that we did get was ok but nothing special.
Would not recommend at all.
Great tex-mex fare @ reasonable prices, with good bar & excellent service. Felt like good neighborly vibes in all areas, with TV sports downstairs & upstairs seating a little more private.(at least until well-made margaritas sent voices soaring from nearby tables. Very recommended for Adams -Morgan option.
Great food just like the one in Georgetown. Love the taco salad. Didn't test the margs, but I would guess the pitchers are fine, but on the sweet side.
