It was a wonderful evening!
Small, romantic, and warm with great food and attentive service. What more could you want?
My husband and I decided to try a new restaurant. This place was great! Definitely will go back!
Excellent scallops!
Really excellent service!
Valentines Day was our first time trying Le Parc Bistro and it was fantastic. They had their full menu which was great because some places due a limited or pre selected menu on Valentine’s Day. Also, while on the way out at the end of the meal the owner was handing out chocolates from a local shop. 10/10 would recommend.
My wife and I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here and everything was delicious. We were seated promptly upon arrival and our table felt private and very comfortable. The lighting was perfect, not too bright, and the temperature was just warm enough for my wife to feel at ease in a sleeveless dress. Our cocktails, the midnight Manhattan and the French blonde were both very good and the escargot appetizer was one of the best we’ve had, despite having vacationed in France several times. Both of our entrees, the cassoulet and the duck, were extremely flavorful and the portion size was almost too large. We finished with the chocolate pot du creme which was perfect for sharing. Try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.
Dining at Le parc was spectacular. We were immediately greeted and seated upon entry. The ambiance was lovely and perfect for a date night. Food was delicious and we’ll definitely return for special occasions.
First time ever going and we loved it, We are planning to take family with us next time. May be one of our new favorite spots in Frederick!
Gordon and Heather offered great service and we saw our friend Alex as well
Met two very nice people, Dave and Lauren of Smoketown fame and discussed the importance of beat balls in our diet
Great evening indeed !
This is a little neighborhood gem. The French onion soup is one of the best I have tasted and I order it every where I go - including France
The service is professional and attentive without being intrusive and the ambiance is just-right for a cozy date nite , an upscale couple's date or girl's nite.
Prices are perfect and portions are generous.
My only complaint is I wish they had more of a French wine selection including a Cotes de Rhone and a sparkling rose'.
Birthday dinner. Party of four. Nicely separated from others. Excellent fare and service.
The ambiance is pleasing and the food is good. Tomato bisque is outstanding as is the Beef Bourginion.
Our second time here and another wonderful meal. We love the mussels for an appetizer. They are large and tasty. My husband had the rack of lamb and thought it was the best he ever had!
The duck a l’orange was the best duck I’ve ever had. Escargot was excellent.
Frederick has a number of outstanding restaurants. This little gem is a bit removed from "restaurant row". Fantastic food! Seems a bit pricey until you get the food. The portions are very generous. This was our first visit...definitely not our last.
Great service from seating and through the meal. Food was great. Excellent as always
Simply Perfect-
This restaurant exceeded our high expectations. The food was some of the best French food I’ve had since coming to this side of the Atlantic. I had the escargot, which had a delicious new take on the classic dish. My choice of entree was cassoulet. The flavor was beautifully balanced with the smoky sausage, the pork which literally melted in my mouth and the creamy texture of the beans. My husband had the French Onion soup make with house made beef broth and Boeuf Bourguignon. The meat was tender and the sauce was rich and delicious. Alex provided flawless service and the ambiance of the restaurant was understated elegance of an authentic French Bistro.
Soup comes with the entrees.
The appetizers are quite filling, so one appetizer per table is plenty.
In spite of the current limitations to in-person dining, Le Parc Bistro is providing an excellent experience. The food quality is five-star, and the staff is cautious and extremely attentive to the diners. An overall excellent experience.
Love the cozy feel and great food! The staff immediately make you feel like you’re part of the family. Never had a bad experience or meal here. Hands down, the best food and dining experience in Frederick.
My sister and I had such a nice New Years Eve dinner here! We sat at a high top by the window and enjoyed service from the most wonderful, lovely server named Braughdon. Thanks to her for making our night extra special!
Ps. The cocktails, vegetable risotto and carrot cake were our favorites!
Food was innovative and very good...Service was awesome...Love this place!
Food and service were fantastic! Very nice ambiance! So glad we finally tried it, we will be back!
Wonderful experience from the service to each course. We will definitely return.
Excellent service, beautiful ambiance and delicious food.
Wonderful food and service!
Delicious food, safe distancing, excellent service!
During this time of fear of Covid 19 and struggling restaurants, we were not sure to find one open on Monday for my birthday dinner.
Le Parc Bistro was warm and inviting, our server, Alex. welcoming and well informed.
We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine, and our appetizer. When our main courses arrived were were overwhelmed with the generosity of the serving. which, after finishing our soup and salad we asked Alex to package up. We enjoyed the casoulet and shortribs at home.
Would bring friends and would certainly recommend Le Parc Bistro to them.
Le Parc has become a favorite for date night, good food, excellent drinks, an atmosphere where you can talk and hear each other. Biden gem in downtown Frederick.
This is a great place for a date night. The ambience was good and we could hold conversations at a low volume. Our server Heather was prompt and attentive to our needs.
After bringing out a basket of hot bread rolls with butter, she took our appetizer order and they came out shortly after we got our bottle of wine. We had the Lobster Beignets appetizer, which was quite savory and filling. We also ordered Escargot a la Bourguignonne - I had to ask for extra bread to sop up the tasty garlic sauce.
After eating salad, we had Cassoulet and Beef a la Bourguignonne on Fettuccini Noodles. Both were very tasty but there was so much food that we had to take half of our dish home as leftovers.
It is easy to rack up a bill at the restaurant but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we gave an above average tip to Heather. We will come again in the future for special occasions.
Bottom line is food and service was excellent. No need to say more. It’s a go back. Hard to find tasty steak in Frederick. Thanks. Dick & Linda Rothenburg
Wonderful service. Great food
was a nice place to go for date night. food was excellent and service was very friendly and helpful with menu choices.. prices was alittle higher than i expected for portion size..
What a gem! Food is INCREDIBLE. I can’t believe this place isn’t packed all the time. This must be one of Frederick’s best kept secrets.
This is a gem of a restaurant. Though a little off the beaten path it's only a 3-5 minute walk from Patrick & Market Streets. Entering the restaurant I thought I had been transported to a quaint village outside Paris. The onion soup was the best I've had this side of the Atlantic. Mussels & frites were delicious, crepes scrumptious. Lovely and reasonable wine list. Can't wait to go back and try another one of the many appealing options on the menu.
Superb! This establishment is doing a great job with COVID-19 precautions i.e. good separation between tables, cleaning regimen, mask requirements, etc. Food and service are second to none. You will think you are in Paris if you close your eyes for a moment and relax. Highly recommended!!
So the calamari hors d'oeuvres was really good. Service was really good. I had really spectacular coq au vin in NYC, oddly enough in a preshow dinner. I couldn't get enough of how delicious every bite was, but this just wasn't it. Granted it's Frederick MD but there are some really good restaurants there. Coq au vin needs some work, and not increased portion size it was more than ample.
Very nice place in a very nice town though.
One of our "go-to" restaurants for special occasions or just a fun night out in Frederick. The food and service is top-notch. We enjoy the willingness of the establishment to meet our seating preferences where possible and love the live piano when available. This establishment never disappoints and has always shined in our visits.
Our server and chef went out of their way to make our special occasion memorable! I so appreciate the modifications that chef made to accommodate my vegan diet. Thank you!!!
Delicious food and service! Great option for gluten free also.
