   We were two couples that dined here last week. The others ordered the surf & Turf, which they said was good except for the "garlic butter" that came with it. Unfortunately, the one that ate it was very sick the entire night afterwards. My husband had the stuffed chillies, which were good, but my filet steak that I ordered rare came well done the first time, and so blue it was still cold in the centre the second. They did not charge me for it, as I didn't eat any of it, but the veggies and fries were good. Pretty pricey, at 500 pesos for 1 dinner and 3 beers, and the other couple's bill came to 1300 pesos, including 4 beers. It could've been a bad night for the restaurant, but we won't be returning to try it again.

   Had a wonderful meal there with my family. The restaurant is smaller than I expected based upon the photos but the wait staff was very attentive and the steak and lobster was delicious as was my husbands seafood platter. Great overall value for a great price too. Definitely would dine here again.

   We order a vine Bottle that had black moisture inside i Never saw something like that. And the food was a 5/10

   We'd been to La Mission in Cozumel and enjoyed it so decided to try this one in Playa. Unfortunately the food came out luke warm/cool; 3 of the 4 of us received our meals while the 4th meal took another 8 minutes to come out; ordered 4 margaritas but only received 3 (lost in translation). Overall it was not a good experience and the food was mediocre at best. It was Valentine's day dinner out on a double date with friends so extra disappointing.

   So, I had read the reviews here before I went and thought I really want to go here. That was unfortunate. We arrived at 6:00 for dinner which I realize is early for dinner in Mexico, but I did not expect that we would be the only ones there. We were taken to a table on the back patio. There were three tables so it's not that large of an area. From my vantage point, I was able to look into the open door of the bathroom and see trash on the back wall of the patio. We had troubles ordering as the waiter and the waitress didn't speak any English. I ordered the lobster as I had seen that in a review. It was greasy and tough. I don't recommend it. I wanted red wine, but was unable to get across my order so I didn't get it. You do get soup and salad included, but I'm not sure that is enough for me to return. My husband's meal was also just o'k. No one came to eat while we were there, and we were still the only ones when we left while the downtown Playa del Carmen restaurants were hopping.

    We have dined here for the past 2 New Years Eve...The garden open air area with fountain is magical. The cervechi was the best I ever had.
