Indulge your sense with our 4 Course Set Dessert menu with complimentary snacks.
Food and theatre of the food was amazing, was pricy but for a special occasion it was perfect. Lovely evening of memories that we will cherish
Each course was an absolute treat! Given the hype around each famous dish, apart from them being thoroughly delicious, it was like being part of a bit of culinary history. Very memorable!
I took my fiancé here for our 1 year anniversary and we were both absolutely blown away. Not just by the food that we had, but by the atmosphere and the service also.
The food was ridiculously good. We looked at each other a few times in awe not knowing how to process the food haha.
The service was incredible and everyone was super nice.
Such a smooth process, also.
Wonderful set menu that showcased Reynold's Masterchef journey so far.
In Reynold’s pursuit of condensing his masterchef creations from this season, unfortunately flavour and balance has been lost in translation.
Including the Snitch, this was $125 a head. Given the tiny serving sizes (although Meteor was a personal favourite, you seriously couldn’t have included a second meteor on the plate?) it was hard to feel as though my money was well spent.
Now to the biggest complaint: Down the Rabbit Hole. This dish was an absolute mess in terms of flavour. This dish simply must be reassessed by the team as to how it actually eats. It was a helluva lot of chocolate with only a bit of relief from the blackcurrant cream. There was no balance and unfortunately it was all show with no punch.
Special mention to Moss version 2- tasted wonderful, and I’m curious to see this version 3 Reynold’s teased.
A personal gripe was the service. As it was a set menu, the wait staff should have been more attentive to kick things off. After all, we’d already paid $95 a head as collateral on the booking, so it was disappointing that it took what seemed like 10mins for someone to confirm the order.
Additionally, when the Snitch was served to me, the waitress somehow forgot the yoghurt snow. As you very well know, it’s critical to the balance of the dish as well as serving as a critical presentation point. Luckily my boyfriend got up straight away to get her attention, but the point still stands. Wait staff at a premium establishment should not make these errors.
So overall, it was a middling to very good experience, a 3.5/5. I respect Reynold’s decision to get these dishes ready for public consumption following the injection of enthusiasm his business is receiving after his second masterchef appearance, but it’s disappointing that one dish in particular was just not good.
I implore you to consider increasing portion sizes by like 25%. One last note is the Snitch- there’s not enough sorbet to cut through the rich Snitch. Revise that.
My wife and I have been visiting Koi for years and are blown away every single time. The dishes are faultless, service is perfect and ambience always makes for a pleasant evening. One of our favourite spots in Sydney!
Reynold is the King of Desserts and that's clear with the Set Menu of the Dining rooms. I attend with my family to celebrate an anniversary and everything was perfect, from the menu, the service, and the ambience of the Dining Rooms. We remain captivated by the Snitch and the Rabbit Hole in particular, but the entire menu is superb and we'll definitely return.
Amazing dessert degustation! Beautifully presented and so delicious! The Snitch is a must-have!
The desserts were amazing and definitely worth experiencing.
Beautiful savoury’s, creative desserts & wonderful cocktails - visit if you like a 5 star experience
Koi is my favourite place to eat. I love the fact that they’ve created an accessible place for that standard of food. It is always the best service, the best food, the best amount, the best vibe... it’s a whole experience. In addition, something I always notice is that the owners seem super humble and are always in there getting their hands dirty. You can usually see them cooking, serving, wiping tables or cleaning dishes. It makes it feel like it must be a nice place to work which comes out in the staff’s customer service. Huge fan :)
Dining at KOI has always been the most beautiful experience, glad the restaurant is back in motion, definitely will keep going!
Best dessert bar in Sydney! All the servings were spectacular in their own way and the staff were fantastic. Highly recommend it.
In short, it was everything we expected and wanted and more. I look forward to the new exciting desserts produced by this amazing kitchen.
Business was more quiet than usual due to COVID-19 but the service and food were still well done. Definitely will go back to try the other desserts on offer.
We had a lovely experience, food was so yummy, service awesome just loved the experience. I would highly recommend. I took my sister and best friend for their birthdays and Koi did a cute little Happy Birthday on the two Dessert plates very cute thank you!
Had the 5 course dessert menu with pairing drinks, AMAZING! Looks amazing, tastes out of this world, unbelievable! We had nor eat before , but the desserts are a perfect main course as well.
The dessert bar was stunning, the desserts themselves delectable and morish. It was my first time ordering from the a la carte menu. It would have been good for the servers to repeat back the orders and explain the snacks as we had a small miscommunication.
Excellent service, delicious desserts. It was an absolutely lovely evening!
We loved it! We had the dessert menu and it was super delicious! And the food looked spectacular!
Every trip to KOI have always been a wonderful experience, be it hightea or dining or just dropping by for a quick coffee and cake!
Thank you for the always beautifully created cakes and cruisine!
overall its ok. but nothing much stands out, and waitress all mumbling
Went here for Valentines, despite having an earlier time we found this to be a very good idea as we could see the beauty of the venue in the setting sun. As its upstairs, you don't hear the sounds from ground floor (despite sitting next to the window). This makes the meal more enjoyable.
The presentatino of the dishes were spectacular, and good enough we both liked different items on the menu which we believe is a good thing as we get the best out of the whole menu.
The service maybe a bit lacking in terms of not all the staff know the dishes, and never came back to confirm my drink, but it was busy so i wasn't too fussed.
None the less we had a great time and look forward to coming back again.
Thanks Koi Dessert Bar!
I found it super expensive! Almost $600 for 4! Food was nice staffs are nice but still $600 is bit too much! Nice for try once !
That was amazing evening, we celebrated my birthday. Amazing food, people, atmosphere. Highly recommended this place, amazing feeling. I’ll remember this evening forever. Thank you Koi
We loved our dining experience at KOI. Every detail was perfect, from service to each plate. It was impeccable. We cannot wait to go back!
Friendly staff and a uniquely designed dessert degustation . Loved every bit off it !
Koi dessert bar never disappoints. If it’s the cakes downstairs or if it’s one of the menu’s in the restaurant. The dishes are clever, delicate, and just fabulous. Everyone should visit this place!
Absolutely amazing reynold is an amazing artist thank you
Such a special experience! Desserts were very pretty and tasted amazing. Was great value I’ve paid a lot more for High teas for less then what we had here. Would fully recommend.
KOI is my all-time favourites, will definitely recommend to friends who also likes desserts.
