We had a great dinner at Kennedy’s. They have done a beautiful job remodeling the restaurant. The service was friendly, they accommodated dietary restrictions, and overall had a great experience.

Steak was great. Seated at 1 of 4 tables next to the bar. Hostess should have asked if it was acceptable location since it was serviced by the bartender, I would have said no had I known.
Table was serviced by bartender who was super nice but impossible for him to be attentive when he has to make drinks for the entire restaurant. For a $600 meal I would expect a server who can be attentive and have plates cleared and glasses full at all times and keep and eye on the table and needs. It was frustrating because it was a special event for us. We could have easily has many more drinks but he was too busy to notice (again, I don't blame him). If it was a couple out on a weekend night, eating at the bar area might be ok, but those tables should have a dedicated server not be a side job for the bartender.
Good food but left with sour taste in my mouth...disappointing for a special family dinner. When your paying top dollar the service is as important as the food. 😔

Fantastic! Our second visit and equally as wonderful as the first. The service is exceptional. Kennedy’s is well staffed and everyone is warm and welcoming. The cocktails/mocktails are excellent. And the food. Delicious! Best steaks we’ve had in some time. Well. Since our last visit to Kennedy’s. My husband loves the Kennedy steak—served with jumbo prawns and crab hollandaise. Classic steakhouse sides. We were too full for dessert but they looked tasty! The perfect holiday festive place to be on a cold evening.

We were seated and eventually assisted by a server, since "Olivia", who we were told would be serving our table, never appeared. We observed the 'Cocktail Cart' across the restaurant and I mentioned that I had read that cocktails were prepared table-side. We ordered cocktails for the table-side experience but were surprised when our server brought the cocktails to the table ready made from the bar. No cart then.
The main dish I ordered was the Halibut, with two side dishes. When the meal arrived the Halibut looked as if it had been plated some considerable time before being brought to the table. The Halibut was cold and the outside rubbery. The fish was very dry and the sauce was cold and had a skin on it.
The sides were not any better. The creamed spinach was cold, as was the baked potato which, again, appeared to have languished in the kitchen for too long and was of below average quality in skin and inside. We felt pressure to leave the restaurant as soon as possible, being repeatedly told, "The kitchen closes at 8:00 pm".
It was a busy day but a good kitchen can survive the challenges presented and maintain the quality of food and service.
We shall give the restaurant one more try in the future but we are not rushing back .........

Ambience, service, food and drink were wonderful. Finally, a nice place in Eugene to dress up and have a pleasant dinner where you can actually hear your dining companions’ conversation.
