Demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. Te cobran 150 dólares por persona para una mesa nido con vista 360. Todo el crédito es para consumo pero es Imposible comer y beber 150 dólares con la carta reducida que tienen. Éramos 3 personas y nos sobraron 225 dólares que tuvimos que cobrar en botellas de vino y agua para llevar. Los nidos descuidados, cojines sucios. El mesero super amable y la comida estuvo bien. Pero está absolutamente sobrevalorado.

Beautiful views from the nest. Provided bug repellent to help with mosquitoes. Drinks were great food was pretty good. Cake presentation for my birthday was so cute with the sparklers. Staff was very friendly and loved our waiter. Would definitely go back!

Kanan has my favorite ambience in all of Tulum🌴, but it is also the worst food I’ve had yet to have in Tulum. Very poor quality and the staff was extremely disrespectful and rude. We tried to simply ask if we could split the check, and they made a big deal of it, gave us dirty looks, then went back to the rest of the staff who all started looking at us rolling their eyes and sighing saying it’s too difficult. I don’t think it is a weird thing to ask to split checks as groups of friends travel all the time and it could have been a simple no and we wouldn’t have minded. I still love the atmosphere of this place, but it was really disappointing with the attitude towards us when we are just trying to simply go out and have an enjoyable dinner

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and it was an absolute dream. Hipolito hooked us up with a nest with an unbelievable view at sunset. The food was delicious, every drink and the presentation of the Mayan coffee was unforgettable. He performed a Mayan ceremony that left us with great energy! We are already talking about coming back to Tulum soon just to have this experience all over again. Would highly recommend!!

Beautiful setting, great cocktails, solid service. Unfortunately, food was not that good. We were there for a 7 course NYE dinner. Also for some reason the hostess tried to sit us at a shared table and told us all private tables were reserved. Fortunately, we were able to move to a low seat near the entrance, but half of the restaurant remained empty all night…at least 10 private tables. Found that odd.

Pros - the fish meals were amazing, the Mexican wine and tequila selection is good, the view is amazing, there’s a convenient parking lot nearby (extra cost) Cons - the waiters didn’t speak English, the hostess also had bad English, the rib eye wasn’t good, the waiters bothered us every 5 min

I went to Kanan in Aug 2022 with 6 friends and we had an amazing time! The food was seasoned well, well-made drinks and perfect service. We opened a tab to sit in the highest nest and it was worth every cent. We highly recommend them !

It’s a lovely restaurant. Unique with amazing views over the sea and jungle. However the neat where you can see the jungle and sea… which are beautiful.. have a $150 per person cover charge… the menu is limited… we asked for a pasta dish and got risotto and without asking they plonk on a 15% service charge. Too Americanised for European tastes!

Amazing staff, ambiance & food! The servers went above & beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. We were celebrating our honeymoon and it perfect for the occasion. The servers were great photographers too and made sure we got the perfect picture. Highly recommend!

We had the best experience dinning in a nest today enjoying the best sunset view. Our servers were Julian and Louis, they both went above and beyond to make sure every meal we had was cooked to perfection and so tasty. I highly recommend this place.

We chose to come to this restaurant for the experience and hoped to have some great food and drinks at the same time. It was between this place and Azulik but we chose Kanan as we heard the food was better. For $150 per person you can sit in a nest that provides ocean, jungle and sunset views. The price goes towards your food and beverage. The menu selection is very small. We had the salmon tartare and octopus to start, both were just ok compared to some of the other restaurants we've dined at during pur stay. For our entrees, we each got the lamb and rosemary mashed potatoes. Both were good and were pretty picky with our lamb. Our server Nestor did a good job. We could've done without the mosquitos, that was horrible! Just go into it knowing the menu because it's a lot of $ if you can't find something you like. Overall, your really paying for the views and photos for your social media but they seemed to let people just take photos without dining there. Honestly, if we would've known that, we would've totally skipped dining there as it was just ok overall.

Overall the setting and service was great however the food is extremely overpriced and not worth it. We both had the steaks and they were excessively fatty, it’s also incredibly hard to see what you’re eating because it’s so dark. We asked for extra candles on the table and still struggled so had to use our phones. If you are going for drinks it’s great and definitely has an amazing view however would not recommend for food.

Honestly the ambiance is beautiful but you can definitely hear the music loud from next door. The food was not good in my opinion I had the salmon and my girlfriend had the cauliflower pizza. The salmon was bland and the cauliflower pizza was probably one of the nastiest things I’ve tasted. I know it’s vegan but vegan food can taste good. They don’t have a lot of cocktails. The one that was recommended was just ok. The server was not attentive and the appetizer we got took about 30 minutes to come out…Food was way overpriced for what it was. Honestly if you are in Mexico, avoid going to restaurants on this strip at night it’s very touristy, go to more authentic Mexican food places outside of the strip. Places. Definitely won’t be going there again.
