JW’s Brasserie in the heart of Westport town is a sophisticated & bustling place to dine which is popular with locals and visitors alike. Westport is a real food hub and JW’s will most definitely not disappoint. Diners can enjoy a variety of choices at competitive prices.
The menu is served daily from 12noon to 9pm. We offer a wide choice of dishes which are sure to meet all tastes.
Kids are well catered for with nutrition being a top priority.
The dishes include hearty options of Atlantic Seafood Chowder, Beer Battered Cod as well as the new Posh Spice Bag with Golden Fried Chicken Goujons & Fries, and perfect for two, a Cheeseboard & Bottle of Wine. Little ones will be well entertained with the fun activity sheet on the back of their menus! Kids are in for a treat with new dessert option of Clew Bay Cookie Ice-Cream Sandwich or our ever popular choice of HP favourites. Babies dine free when adults dine with complimentary baby bowl.

Probably not the first place that comes to mind when someone thinks of casual dining in Westport, but it should be. Flawless in every aspect.

Good kids set menus. Service slow (35mins) and order incorrect for 1. Double charged for drinks.

Nice casual restaurant in the centre of town (in the Wyatt Hotel). Good menu options and food lovely (we had burgers, steak sandwiches, pasta & the chicken curry - couldn't fault anything). Service was great. We had a reservation for 5 people but 6 of us arrived & they accommodated us without any hassle even though they were fully booked.

Ok Where to start I booked in advance because I was told might be hard to get a table. So we arrived at 18.55 as we were booked at 19.00 our table was ready and we were seated given menus. Then we were left which seen like ages till I had to get the attention of a waiter to place our order 1 starter 2 mains. Once placed, again we were sitting with no sign of any food when the starter arrived it wasn't warm and some was left. When they took it away and bought our mains they apologised for the wait. Now the main was turkey and ham it arrived with side dish of vegetables which unfortunately wasn't cooked so all the vegetables was left along with some dinner. In the end they apologised said they didn't expect to be so busy and never charged for the starter. My point is if they had of kept us informed popped over and said you OK for drinks sorry we are so busy? Then yes I would not be writing this but they didn't they just let us sit there looking round the room. While everyone around us was being served. Maybe just bad timing but talking to your customers and keeping them informed is better then ignoring them. We paid and left at 20.10

Chicken curry was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again when visiting Westport.

Have eaten here many times and unfortunately this was the first time I’ve had to send food back. I ordered the tomato pasta dish from the children’s menu for my child, pasta came out with a CREAMY tomato sauce, it didn’t mention this on the menu. I had to send back as daughter is lactose intolerant. I then asked for pasta with plain pasatta sauce, We received the dish quickly but this time the tomato sauce was so sweet, My daughter refused to eat it. I mentioned this to the lovely girl on the till and she said the sauce is sweetened up to make it more palatable for children. I’ve never known a savoury dish from a children’s menu to be sweetened to such extent. I’d understand if it was sticky chicken or a sweet chilli sauce but not a marinara sauce? Other than that, the servers were lovely and professional. The other soup and other meals we ordered were very enjoyable. I wouldn’t let one bad meal put us off and We’ll definitely be back again. I do however think the children’s pasta options need to be looked at, a nice bolognaise on the children’s menu would be great.
