More than just a restaurant, Junior was born out of a passion to share the rich Filipino culture with the community. In 2014, award winning DJ brothers, Jojo and Toddy Flores, along with Dr Julian Somera and artist David Pendon came together to bring the authentic flavours and feels of the Philippines easily accessible, within Montreal’s new restaurant row on Notre Dame West. So, who’s Junior? If you weren’t already aware, everyone “back home” knows a friend, uncle, or may even be named “Junior” themselves. As the ubiquitous boy’s name can be found throughout the Philippines, in a way it’s become a representation of the culture and that’s exactly why we’re here. From the deliciously comforting menu, to the rich decor complete of course with fine Filipino hospitality, you’ll feel right at home when you step foot into Junior. Welcome to the #JuniorMafiaMTL.

Very much enjoyed the service. Great food. Zero chance we won’t go back... the spread of food on the table beside us demands a try. Don’t skip the fried chicken.

Très bonne table originale! Tous les plats sont excellents! Je recommande les Buto-buto, le poulet fricassé à la sauce coco et le gâteau au Manioc! Un DJ pour l’ambiance, même si la musique est peut-être un peu forte.

We reserved a table but the restaurent didn't honour it. We couldn't eat because they didn't have a table for us.

Tellement extraordinaire comme nourriture et comme accueil! À refaire. Seul bémol : la musique est bonne mais gagnerait à être un peu moins forte.

Food was delicious - you really felt like you were in the Philippines. I would have loved if Filipino songs were playing but that’s okay! I will definitely return - as it was not too crowded (as if you were in the CDN area). Thanks again!
