Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Staff were very friendly, extremely great and helpful service. Hostess, and our Waiter. Went out of there way to take care of us. If you are looking for great food , good prices. We had beautiful view of Sacramento River, and Bridge . Table right by windows. Inside restaurant is decorated fun with nautical themed! Different worth take a visit to check out! We will be returning so sure!!!

I have had better seafood boils in my life but for what it was worth the king crab boil was a decent price. I was dissapointed because me and my girlfriend put on our reservation that it was our aniversery and there was no mention or recoginition of that by joe's. Overall good food for a good price and good experience.

I enjoyed Joe's Crab Shack. The appetizers and food were delicious and we took food home with us. The service was excellent as we were slightly late due to rainy weather and they took care of rescheduling us without any problems. My family enjoyed the food and all of us look forward to coming again.

Our table reservation cannot be found.Good thing 1 table is available ready for unreserved customers.I Don't know why it didn't go trough,I got the confirmation that I. Showed them.Overall the experiences is really nice.

All of the food tasted great! I was surprised of how much food the captains catch came with in the kids meal!

Super sweet waitress. She looked like she had to serve the whole restaurant single-handedly, so the service was super slow….our table was never bused; drinks never re-filled; food (two small plates) took forever; and she had my credit card so long I got concerned. Not blaming her. She was very kind. She needed some support! Fun vibe. Nice window view at night. Food was eh. Peel and eat shrimp was NOT DEVEINED. Gross! + no flavor. Calamari was okay. Overall, definitely not a restaurant for a foodie, but fun place to visit if you have no time constraints.

We arrived for our 6:15 reservation. The computer system was down and had to wait about 45 min to be seated. We ordered drinks but had to wait another 30 min to order. Food was very good. When it came time to pay the bill we had a few issues. We split the check as we had 4 different families at the table. We indicated during the initial order what checks were on what order. We tried to get our check correct 3 times and finally gave up. Paid for 2 drinks that were not mine. Oh well. I was tired of waiting.

First time eating here for my husband and I. Food was delicious and the staff were all great. Computer system went down but the manager stepped in and was serving plates to help out. Peach glazed Salmon is worth going back for.
