   We had an amazing dinner with the best service we’ve ever received. I could tell the staff went out of the way to make my husband’s birthday an excellent night for us. Donovan and Tristan were amazing and the manager stopped by to chat for longer than I typically see. The food was perfect and dessert was to die for! We really appreciate such a great night.

    The website presents far more glamorous than reality. There is no dress code, therefore the crowd of cut offs, t-shirts, etc. bring down the ambiance & complete dining experience, especially with the high cost of dining there.

    Absolutely fantastic atmosphere; chose to sit in the bar area to dine in order to see the live music. The food was fantastic and so was the attentive staff. Highly recommended

    This was our second time here and this time was better than the first. Food was delicious. It was surpassingly fast service. Prices hadn’t changed much from 2019 which was the last time we visited. Server was amazing. Highly recommend a sushi roll during your meal- best sushi I’ve ever had. Only issue was how loud the piano player was- we sat in the bar area and although super swanky and fun for the night, we had to do a lot of yelling over the booth to hear our friends. So if you’re needing to talk during dinner then I’d not recommend lounge/bar seating.

    The lighting was terrible. The food was good not great. The service was wonderful. My steak should have been medium Well. It was well. We ordered one crab leg for an appetizer and it was over $100 for the leg. They gave us the claw portion which I can assume was the heaviest. I have had better meals for half the price. You will notice that my photos are pinky purple that is because of the awful lighting. Very unappetizing.

    My husband and I had relocated from Las Vegas to the Nashville area and decided to try out Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse with several friends. I had ordered Steak Dianne and my husband ordered Sea Bass. My husband's dish was cooked perfectly but my steak was raw when I had ordered it "well done." So I thought the second time around, it would be cooked perfectly but was again disappointed when my steak appeared medium rare. At this point, I asked our server to return the steak and ordered sea bass instead. To make matters worse, another server dropped one of his plates of butter on my husband, leaving a greasy wet residue on his shirt sleeve and all over the floor. I was horrified because we had NEVER experienced anything like this in any of the restaurants we've been to previously. This server went back to the kitchen and grabbed a wet hand towel and tried to clean the mess he had created but the damage was already done. To make a long story short, the manager finally came by to apologize for my undercooked steak but evidently had no idea that a plate of greasy melted butter was dropped on my husband's shirt. He tried to make amends with free desert and dry cleaning...how pathetic. I know steakhouses are subpar here in Nashville compared to Las Vegas, but seriously, how do you spill food on a customer?!! Needless to say, their servers need much training and their chefs need to learn how to cook steaks. We went to several other steakhouses around the area like Kayne Prime and Perry's Steakhouse and their steaks were cooked to perfection. The only reason why I'm giving it 2 stars is because the rest of our party enjoyed their food. Will not be coming back any time soon!

    Server was so busy , he just basically threw our food on our table and when he poured the last part of our wine in the decanter he spilled it and never said a word.

    We went here for our anniversary, this was our first time visiting and we will definitely return. The service that was provided by our server Nicholas was phenomenal, and the food was amazing.

    First time dining here. Really loved the atmosphere and the food was Fantastic! Cowboy Ribeye was cooked to perfection. Staff could not have been nicer. The Manager even escorted me to the ladies room….such a pleasure dining with you!

    I ordered steak Diane medium and received a medium well to well done steak. Didn’t have time for correction so did not bring it to waiter attention. My husband’s steak was prepared perfectly.

    The service was good. There was a little bit of an issue with a couple of the items on the "Seafood Tower". Otherwise, the food was excellent, with excellent ambience. I would recommend going back to the old seafood Tower that they had 3-4 years ago.

    Been to Jeff Rubys many times in Louisville , Lexington, Columbus and Nashville. This was my first below average experience. For a Jeff Rubys you could call it a bad experience. Not impressed at all. Service was so bad we divided to skip app, dessert and just ordered the Amin meal so we could leave after.

    We are at the bar and had wonderful service; the food was outstanding as always. The steak Diane was tender, cooked perfectly, the sauce was delicious. The sea bass was amazing, as usual. The cocktails were inventive; the bar staff was OUTSTANDING. We’ll be back.
