Went twice during our week in Cabo.
Drinks, food, ambiance all great local hospitality.
This is totally a tourist place, but well done if that's what you want. Live music, Mexican dancing, prompt service, very attentive. Food is good.
We found Jazmins by chance 2 years ago and were so amazed by the delicious food. Went back to Cabo and couldn't wait to go back to Jazmins! Spent my birthday dinner there. The food is so good and the staff so nice. We got the fish ceviche and guacamole. The ceviche is like no other Ive ever had. I also got shrimp fajitas. They were delicious. Go there. You won't be sorry!
Very popular restaurant inundated with tourists. Service is fast (they need to turn around tables quickly to accommodate the waiting throngs, no exaggeration). We unfortunately were seated close to the maitre de’s stand and had to deal with people crowding us waiting for a table. Food was good, not spectacular and service was fair. Pick another place.
The ambiance and alcohol drink was perfect! We will come back for the food and show next time!
We really enjoyed Jazmin’s. With the art walk on Thursday, the restaurant was a fun, happening place. The dancers were lively and charming, the food good (though I can’t remember what I ordered), and the atmosphere delightful. We returned the next day for breakfast and sat in the front, soaking up the lovely breeze, and enjoying the delicious eggs Machaca. Wonderful!
We have eaten here a few times previously. This visit the food was not the same quality as our prior visits. The service also was not terrific. Probably will try some other places next visit.
Great food, large portions thoughtful and prompt service. Show/ entertainment was great! I don’t usually enjoy that kind of thing, but was an experience. Don’t go during a show if you want a quiet dinner. But, go because it will be fun with talented performers.
The food was excellent with generous portions. Very good service. Best flan I have had! There was even a Mexican dance show which made the evening special. Jazmine’s is on my repeat list next time I’m in town.
The food was okay. Got nachos for kids and they knew we didn't want spicy and there were hot peppers all over it. The chicken stuff dinner was overcooked and the seafood inside was chewy. Not good at all. Paid way to much for the food
Server was not attentive - had to get up to order our own drinks. The manager was walking around asking if she could take photos of guests for the restaurant's "gallery" but when you got close to the end of your meal she brought around a bottle of tequila with the restaurant name on it with the picture she took of you to purchase for $25 US. So was a lie - no gallery and the picture was just taped to the bottle. What a scam.
Food was overpriced and overcooked. Will not go back
This was our first visit upon recommendations from friends and everything was even beyond our expectations! Service was impeccable, so warm, friendly and watch all the time to see if we needed anything else so promptly and courteous! Decor was so beautifully authentic and every searing area had a great ambience. Now for the food, I had the shrimp stuffed svacado, my husband tortilla soup and chicken enchiladas and they were fantastic! Our new favourite restaurant and will pass it on for other visitors!! Well done to Jazmin’s, thank you for a wonderful evening!
We sat at the table for 20 minutes waiting for our drinks, the waiters goofed around but still did not bring them, we told the waiters we were still waiting, still no drinks, so we all six of us got up and left, they just laughed and shrugged, they did not care, we do not either, SO we will never come back.
Food was fabulous. There was a wedding go on so we moved from outside to inside because it was so loud. Food was delicious.
Un ambiente agradable para todos los gustos, ya sea familiar, amigos o parejas. El servicio es impecable todos fueron muy atentos y cordiales. Sin duda alguna es un lugar que recomiendo ampliamente
Superb service and atmosphere. Live music was wonderful. Recommend Mexican entrees. Carne Assad’s was tough and bland, shrimp over cooked and tough. Enchiladas were excellent! One way narrow street with very limited parking.
This is a good place for tourists who like Mexican food, lots of traditional Mexican decor, Mexican music and dancers who weave their way through tables throughout the evening. The music was super loud and the soundtrack wasn’t smooth. There is a mariachi band that plays at tables when the dancers are changing outfits.
The food was fine. Nothing exceptional and nothing to complain about.
The service was surprisingly bad. We ordered an appetizer and dinners. The dinners came quickly but no appetizer. We canceled the appetizer. The waiter had trouble opening the bottle of wine and just seemed inexperienced. I felt bad for him but he should have received more training before being on the floor during a very busy night.
So I give it a so so review. For the price I expected much more.
Chicken Enchiladas were excellent! Spinach salad was very good also. Special chocolate volcano was worth the wait. Margaritas were too sour but our server promptly corrected the problem. Requested outside seating but were placed in back although it was “outside”.
We dined at Jazmins several years ago and it was great, but it seems to have changed format and not in a good way. In the past, we sat in the center open-air courtyard under a tree. The ambiance was quiet and the food more upscale - in addition to the many wonderful seafood dishes, we enjoyed table side preparations including a flaming dessert and coffees. This trip, the place downgraded to a tourist attraction and the menu was completely different - tacos, fajitas, and a other similar items, but gone was the nicer cuisine. The center courtyard is still there, which at least has some ambiance, but we were seated in a back room that just seemed like a mass production diner. Then the very skilled but noisy dancing show began and we couldn't even carry on a conversation. Next was the man going table to table trying to peddle his roses, and not taking "no thanks" very easily. Just tourist kitsch. We will not be back - will continue to seek out the more authentic and serene dining experiences that old San Jose has to offer, which is many.
Excellent food and friendly wait staff.
Food and service were very good . I would recommend it for a reasonable and nice meal.
We enjoyed the meal and atmosphere very much.
In my humble opinion, Jazmin’s is fine if you’re looking for a show. The food, however, is average at best. The serving staff were very friendly and attentive and the
Not only was the food and drink delicious, but there was even entertainment ! The shrimp were great, and the guacamole could not have been more fresh (and, not salty, as it is at many restaurants). I definitely recommend it; make sure that you have reservations if you go on a Thursday night, when there is an Art Walk in the town
Great food and booziest margarita I had in Mexico for sure.
Was booked as birthday dinner but not acknowledged and drinks were not correct. Food was tasty and entertainment good. This time was very disappointing compared to our previous visits there. Will not necessarily go back this trip.
We’ve been to many restaurants in San Jose and Cabo over the last 15 years and this was the first time to Jazmin’s. While the ambience, especially the entertainment, was great the food not so. If you’re looking for great Mexican food there are many places much better and quite a few more affordable.
Looks like a small place but as you go in its huge. Great place. Great food & drinks. Perfect when you go to the Artwalk.
Fun local vibe. Good food. Entertainment
Truly a gem! This made my short 23 hour, last minute work trip even more fantastic! Food service and live music were top-notch
Been coming for several years. This year brought our three sons and they wanted to come again before we got out to the street. Good food and lots of fun activity and entertainment.
It is amazing how service personnel can be so rude to their guests. We used to love Jazmin's but sadly, they have come to look at tourists as their meal ticket. Average food served by wait staff who want to turn tables and get the next tip. Last meal here. Too many places appreciate their guests and will continue to eat there.
It is the most touristy place I’ve ever been to with lackluster food.
Perfect on a Thursday night while in town for the art walk. Good food and great entertainment.
New years eve
We made a second visit to Jasmine because we enjoyed the show and atmosphere last year. We arrived at 8:15 at the end of a show. We thought another one would start at some point, but it never did. Food was OK, service was OK. We won’t be coming back for a third visit. There are much better restaurants in San Jose.
Went during Thursday Art Walk. Be sure to make rezzys in advance as it will be at least an hour wait otherwise. Food was well executed Mexican. Only negative was feeling rushed to turn the table by the server after we were done with our mains. No offer of postres or anything, just the check. That would not prevent us from returning however.
The experience at this location was wonderful and the food was outstanding. We highly recommendable this as a great place to go for dinner.
Wonderful ambience, live dance show, and live music. The only
Super super experience. Everything was great. Food and service is amazing.
