   Sadly a poor experience for a place we had high hopes for. It was my wife’s birthday, so we took our kids (11 and 8) for an evening meal, mid week. Our 8 year old is a fussy eater, which proved to be more of an issue than we expected. The restaurant does not have a kids’ menu, and does not do kids’ portions of the adult meals. So we ended up having chicken and noodles for our 8 year old (which itself was a bit of a mission) for £16. More generally, the food was the most significant disappointment. Under seasoned and largely tasteless, it was a huge let down. The young waiting staff were really polite and friendly, even if the kitchen staff seemed oddly unaccommodating to children. I imagine lots of people would want to visit with kids, and needing to be flexible around menu is not out of the ordinary. Good restaurants do it without hesitation. We won’t be rushing back. Poor.

   An excellent restaurant. Always first class food and service. Fantastic vegetarian and vegan choices and very generous portions!

   I can not express how lovely this food was, it was my first visit tonight and can’t wait to come back to try more on the menu

   So pleased to have Janet's restaurant in pontypridd. Genuinely some of the best food I've ever had. This is my third visit, and I'm already looking forward to the next time! Outstanding all round. Great service, great food and a perfect midweek date night.

   The food was absolutely delicious and would eat there again. The only issue was that there were only two waitresses there and the place was packed. We had to ask for menus and for our drinks when a table that was seated after us got theirs as soon as they were seated. Aside from that we had a great night and enjoyed some extremely delicious food.

   Fabulous food. Service was really quick, wish they would take the dimsun order first, then on completion take the mains order, as it is cooked fresh and served straight to the table the whole experience was too quick! Was going to have a bottle of wine after a few beers but was already half way through mains....

    Wow! Exceed my expectations. People rave about this restaurant and I really understand why. The food was incredible! The service was impeccable. Honestly, one of the best experiences I have had for a number of years. I would highly recommend!
