   One of the finest dining experiences in Highland Park. Great for all occasions. Delmonico Rib eye is a must try. So is trout spread. Pricey but worth every penny.

   Food was excellent. Best Calamari that I have had in Dallas. Delicious prime rib.

   Restaurant was very loud, parking was very difficult to find an available spot, numerous restricted or no parking areas around the restaurant

   Love the atmosphere, such a cool bar! The red fish and house salad were delish. The signature gumbo tasted burnt… a New Orleans restaurant and the gumbo tasted burnt. Besides that, the salad was fresh beautiful and tasty, I enjoyed the redfish, my parents and husband enjoyed their shrimp dishes…. And the margarita was honestly delicious, best I have had in a while.

   Afternoon lunch. The value for the lunch special is very good. My wife had the fish which was excellent. I had the chicken dish. It was also excellent. We each had the salad which was good. The gumbo was not very good. It was way too thick and over-seasoned for our taste. Margaret provided excellent service. The bar looks fun. We’ll come back for happy hour to check it out.

    Fried oysters excellent, bone in tenderloin excellent quality and seasoning, well prepared. Sautéed spinach surprisingly delicious. Drinks also excellent. Service cordial and efficient. Cheesecake also a winner. The only disappointment was the gumbo. I like a dark roux, but extremely bitter. Really dislike the thickener added which left a pastiness in the mouth.
