House of Cards is Nashville’s most unique dining and entertainment experience. Located underground in a 10,000 sq. ft space, the venue offers an evening for guests unlike any other in the history of the South.
​House of Cards celebrates the art of magic, classic American cuisine and fine hand-crafted cocktails. Guests are encouraged to explore the dining room to enjoy the rare collections and be entertained by some of America’s top magicians. Complimentary tickets to magic performances in the showroom are included with purchase of a dinner entrée. Please, no outside bottles.

Reservations for parties of 6 or less can be made 14 days in advance through OpenTable. For parties of 7-12, please reserve 17 days in advance by emailing reservations@hocnashville.com.

Dress code strictly enforced. For dress code details, visit HOCNashville.com/reservations. No photography inside the restaurant. Reservations encouraged. Walk-ins welcome subject to availability and dress code.

    The experience of close up magic tables, main stage magic show and photographer made up for where the service and food lacked. First off, the concept is so unique. Decorations and ambiance was 5 stars. When we were seated, however, we were sat without menus, without water and proceeded to sit there for close to 20 minutes before we were greeted or even acknowledged. A server assistant, who was filling water glasses at all of the tables around us seemed to make it a point to avoid us. Another table, who was sat after us, already had drinks and were putting in their appetizer orders before we ever saw our server. This put a particular damper on the start of our evening. As my husband and I were out on our first year anniversary, we’d been hoping for better. Food was okay. There was nothing truly spectacular about it and for the price point, that was disappointing, but overall, it was good, despite being a bit lackluster. Again, the magic was great and getting dinner with a show was worth the experience.

    Love the concept and execution here, what a great spot! Up close magic was top notch and the 30 minute show was great, albeit a little unpolished/awkward at points. Food and drink was very good and overall we enjoyed the night. Where it fell a bit short was the initial check in experience and service. It seemed a bit disorganized and too casual for the rest of the experience, the ghost piano was not explained well (a number of other guest seemed confused by it as well) we were never told how the magic show would work (do we pay before or after, are we at risk of missing it, etc) overall I just think the staff is inexperienced or needs more training to really nail the experience and put the guests at ease. One other thing probably out of the restaurant’s control was the parking. We went to the assigned garage and thought we were trapped at the end of the night as the rolling door had closed. We were able to use the ticket and validation but the garage door never opened. It did eventually open randomly after 5-10minutes of us trying to figure out what to do thankfully.

    We made a reservation very last minute for the bar but they were able to move us to a table which we were very happy about. Our service at the bar was not the best, and the bartenders were unable to tell us anything about the menu or drinks. Our server was excellent once we moved though. Overall a very pleasant experience and the magic shows were such a fun added bonus. I highly recommend!

    This is an amazing dining experience. Much like a speak-easy, this establishment is not marked outside and you are met by a person that is looking for you, looking for the entrance. Once inside, it is a beautifully dim lit dining room with outstanding service from all involved. Comparable to Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant food quality, the cuisine is impeccable. The illusionists we saw were true professionals and you won’t be subjected to any of the lame, seen over and over card tricks amateur “magicians” perform. They, like everything else in this establishment, are also top tier. 5/5, 10/10 would recommend and will likely dine here many more times. Yes it’s “expensive” at over $100 per person to dine but parking is validated and free, top quality everything and dinner(s) with magic show(s) makes this night out worth every penny. You’d likely spend more going elsewhere and have poor quality in one aspect or another.
