Great place with lovely atmosphere certainly lives up to its name, Hideaway been coming here for years and never knew about it a well kept secret will be back

The hostess wasn't overly welcoming but the waitress and food made up for it! Our waitress was absolutely fantastic and even gave me a birthday cocktail! My favorite place to eat on the coast!

Great venue and menu however last few times I’ve been there Is not enough staff and too long to wait for service - that frankly wasn’t that great

Fantastic food,service & ambiance a hidden gem in Broadbeach,definitely much better than some of the restaurants in the main area.

Great looking restaurant and food was good but not great

Great food, atmosphere and setting. Would have loved to have rice dish come out same time as curries as we had to wait for this - about 20mins. Too hungry to wait for rice to come and curry to go cold. Need the rice to balance it out. Service was friendly but not attentive.

Kingfish sashimi was tasteless and rubbery and Lamb shank curry was tough and could hardly get it off the bone with the spoon that was given?
Wait staff were too busy to handle the volume of customers there!
I have been to Hideaway on a number of occasions and always had a good time and food but will be hard pressed to return.

Hi - we’ve been to Hideaway quite a few times before and have always loved it. This visit was a little different, the food was delicious as always, but the staff might have had a difficult night. We waited quite a while to place our order. The table next to us were seated after, but were served first and had their food brought out before we even had a chance to order. We had a few items bought to our table that we did not order. Had a few items we ordered not brought at all, and items put on our bill that were not brought out as well. We will be back, as the food had the same amazing standard it has always had, but hopefully the service will run a little smoother.

Hideaway was recommended by a friend and we weren’t disappointed.
Every dish we ordered was delicious and the service was exception.
We were sitting outside and the rain made the evening wet and slightly uncomfortable. The extra blankets were greatly appreciated.

Always puts on a good feed. Service was fast and positive from all staff. We had a miscommunication on our order which they quickly fixed and apologised for. We sat outside and got a few sprinkles of rain when the wind came a certain way but it added to the experience. Thanks again. Will definitely be a return customer.

Ate here for my birthday dinner with some family and friends. Food and atmosphere were amazing! 10/10. The Wagyu dumplings were the best! The waitresses were also great and very accomodating. The free birthday cocktail was a nice treat!

Food was good, staff were friendly, noisey in the restaurant but all that said we would definitely go back again for another feed .

Really surprised by the large outdoor area, lovely effect with the umbrellas. Good choice of items on the menu and very reasonably priced. Great to receive 4 serves with many of the small plates. We will return back to try other dishes.

It took over 45 mins for our drinks to come out and had to ask a few times where they were. One meal came out 50 minutes after our first meal was served and had to ask multiple times where the rest of our food was. The food was very yummy but took such a long time to arrive

Such a tasty range of dishes to choose from, so many things to back and try! The staff were lovely and the decor is bright and interesting. Very happy with our dinner date

Although we ordered entres as our meals our drinks came out just before we finished our food. As result we kept requesting water for the table as the food we ordered was salt based (ie salt and pepper squid and dumplings) however it took a long time for staff to replace our water despite being next to the bar. Food was tasteful and I will return for food however the service was what let the experience down, despite the fact it wasn't a full house, perhaps the number of wait staff was not enough for that particular night.

Overall, very average and definitely not worth the $59 per head menu....the first 3 dishes came, the salt and pepper squid and chicken wings were good, the karange chicken really oily, that' s all you could taste - oil. Then came teriyaki beef which was nice but only lukewarm, fried rice which was pretty ordinary and again oily and some fried vegetables, mostly which was capsicum, cabbage and onion (not a snow pea in sight) so very ordinary.....the worse dish of the night was named beef rendang but looked more like a watery yellow curry...my adult daughter glanced at each other upon its arrival because it just didn't look right - we both tried a piece but left it due to it being very dry, very tough and bland...all the beef rendangs I've had previously have been dark and very robust in flavour with lots of delicious spices....the waiters questioned why we left so much of it so we told them. To be honest I thought it was pretty pathetic pricing for what we got and definitey won't be back.

We found everything including the staff to be of a very high standard. We will definitely dine here again 😀
