Hickory at Nicewonder Farm & Vineyards is the signature restaurant from James Beard award nominee, Chef Travis Milton, offering the finest dining in the region. The menu is inspired by his Appalachian heritage, culture, and traditions and uses
locally sourced produce to create a menu rooted in the beauty of the Appalachian mountains.     We always enjoy a great dinner at Hickory when we come to The Virginian to play golf! Food, service and atmosphere are outstay!We look forward to our next trip.

    Great atmosphere, amazing food and service. Staff was attentive and on top of every need and request. We ate dinner outside, then enjoyed time by the fire pit at the pond as the sun went down. A+++, highly recommend!

    The food, service and environment was lovely. The price was absurd! Seventy five dollars per person for the Mother’s Day brunch! That $75.00 per person did not even include a drink! That as another $21.00 for one mimosa and one Bloody Mary! The menu did not list the price, yes, I could have asked but I never expected this much.

    Mary the bartender is amazing!!! And Chance our server was amazing! And we also had Drew for daily breakfast and he’s the best! Highly recommend!

    The restaurant is on the grounds of a beautiful inn and vineyard. The food was all locally sourced and was beyond delicious. Our waitress was wonderful, personable, and attentive

    We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Hickory tonight. The food and service was exceptional. We will definitely be visiting again!
