Tuscany is our spotlight region for the remainder of the year. We will be featuring a selection of the finest Tuscan wines at our Tasting Events, Wine Gala Dinner, and as part of our regular menu offerings at HEIST. $9 for three tastings - additional tastings available for purchase.                                                                                           We celebrated a special 75th birthday at Heist, and I can't imagine a more perfect evening. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew we were in for a truly exceptional experience. We were immediately greeted with warm smiles from the staff, who ensured we we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived until we left. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. Our server had an in-depth knowledge of the menu and made excellent suggestions. Every dish arrived at just the right moment, giving us time to enjoy each course without ever feeling rushed. The food was the true highlight of the evening. We started with the pork belly appetizer that showcased the chef's creativity. For the main course, I opted for the pan roasted gnocchi and my mother enjoyed the filet mignon, which was juicy and full of flavor, paired with a rich red wine reduction. To finish, the dessert was tiramisu and was a perfect finish to the meal. It wasn’t too heavy, which made it easy to enjoy even after a big dinner. Overall, Heist exceeded all of my expectations. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion, with food and wine that were nothing short of outstanding. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience to celebrate any occasion, this is the place.

                                                                                          Sophisticated dining experience at Heist- superb wine list, delicious starters while waiting for our mains which did not disappoint! Gorgeous food presentation along with outstanding service by the entire wait staff. The ambience was lovely- highly recommend any of the seating areas that allow you to look around and also see the foot traffic along Kingston's streets. We did not try the desserts since we were so satisfied by our meals! We will definitely go back for a special occasion dinner! You get what you pay for as they say- the price for the meal matches the fine dining and preparation by the top notch prep cooks and chef. Thank you for a memorable meal- truly loved all aspects of the evening.

                                                                                          Had heard many good things about Heist, was excited to experience it ourselves. We had a party of 6 and everything was perfect, it surpassed expectations. We Will definitely be back!

                                                                                          My wife and l attended for her birthday. The Service was excellent, the food was very good and the wine was high quality. The only drawback was that a table for six [6] was seated very close next to us and they yelled at each other all night. My wife and l could hardly hear each other. Over all we would return and hope that a smaller more considerate group were seated next to our table. Maybe the large tables at one end and the two/four tables at the other end.

                                                                                          Heist has an excellent menu (both food and wine) and provides excellent service. The unique setting, a vintage Canadian bank, raises the fun factor. It is relatively pricey (for Kingston) but it seems to be giving value comparable to that of the other high-end restaurants in the city.

We noticed that the gnocchi could use a bit more sauce (sauce was so delicious) and the chicken for the chicken parm was a bit dry. We get this dish all the time and probably just a one off as it is fantastic every other time. Steak was cooked perfectly!! We requested a specific server (Ann) but she was busy with a large group! No problem at all but if it was her, we would have had the best experience!
