Welcome to Hazelwood Food and Drink in St. Louis Park.     In case you aren’t aware this restaurant does something I have never seen in other restaurants… they time you then approach your table and tell you that your timeslot is almost up…wtf? In other words, get out. I was waiting to order dessert, but that didn’t matter as our waiter never returned. Our entire table found it very odd, rude, and made us all feel very uncomfortable as our evening was going just fine. Whatever managerial idiot at this restaurant that would be a good idea, you’re dead wrong. This really ruined our night and cut it short. Btw, the noise level in this place is ridiculously loud. Not returning to this restaurant and I hope the rest of you consider their methods before scheduling your fun night out. Bald jeans wearing manager might want to take a refresher course on Setting the example and retraining his face on how to smile at least once a shift 😁

    First time visit - finding the entrance was confusing. My table request was not honored so I asked to move and a better place was found. Nice bottle of wine, food was good, but nothing special. Had to work to get good service. The triple dessert was overwhelming for two!

    Our server Megan was awesome! She was attentive and gave us time to order for our table of 5. She took a photo and didn’t rush us to leave. This is my third time at Hazelwood SLP and will definitely come again!

    Great food and location, bustling crowd and environment. Make a reservation if you plan to go during peak hours. We frequent the Bloomington location and were happy to discover SLP; only downside is that the SLP location didn’t have the lychee mule we LOVE from the Bloomington site. Food is consistently great at both.

    I eat at Hazelwood, St. Louis Pk. a lot. This was the first time the service was not so good. Our wait person seemed to have outdoor and indoor tables. My friend and I were seated at a great table that we had a clear shot of the outdoor and inside tables our wait person was trying to cover. The only time we got any attention is when we snagged her try to get back to the bar. She always stopped, always promptly got to anything we asked for, and even though we were both feeling neglected unless requesting attention she was tipped very well. I realize this could have been just one of those days that Hazelwood was understaffed for a busy lunch hour. Other than the front of the house person that seated us, and delivered our food, it didn't seem like there was any other support people. I think our wait person did the best she could. The food was excellent! Just a bad day to be a wait person!

    Marginal food and service. We left after waiting 20 minutes for dessert. The manager chased us down and got it to-go for us but there was no excuse for the delay on a quiet night and repeated asks for a simple piece of cake.
