   We always enjoy or dining here. We do the Kick Back and the food is selected for us. It is fun we share each serving.

   The food was absolutely phenomenal but coming in for the first time I was super confused by the atmosphere. I was definitely expecting something with like a low lit Ambience and more of a restaurant but instead it was a random area inside of a market which was also selling pizza so it was super confusing smelling the pizza while eating halibut? Don't get me wrong though the food was absolutely amazing but the ambience really threw me off. Not what I was expecting at all when I hear the word James Beard or fancy restaurant but the food was fantastic!

   The homemade pasta with pork belly was amazing, melt in your mouth! The halibut perfectly cooked and we loved the sesame bread as everyone had told us to order! Cocktails were delicious. Service impeccable! The only warning I want to be sure to share is that you must give 24 hour notice to cancel or you will be charged $30 a person. We missed this. We had been here after a memorial and were emotionally worn out so wanted to cancel, but were told of their policy. in the end, the food soothed our souls.

   What more could you ask for? Farm to table dishes that were so unique - flavorful, plentiful & gorgeous. Culinary euphoria! It’s all about taking your time, savouring the flavors & enjoying the moments. Service & staff were exceptional. 'Laissez les bons temps rouler'. Thank you, Hayward!

   We had a wonderful dinner at Hayward! We were a group of six and therefore automatically shared meals family style. I asked the staff ahead of time if two different dietary restrictions in our group could be accommodated, and they did so with aplomb. We ate multiple courses of delicious food, from appetizers and salad to roasted veggies, pasta, and eventually both a meat and vegan dish, topped off with a delightfully light and flavorful fruit dessert. The drinks were also tasty! While the price was high, the food, perfect service, and atmosphere were worth it for a special outing with friends.

   While not inexpensive, Hayward is well worth both the price and the calories (we don't count those anyway). Amazing food! We did the Kick Back and were thoroughly impressed. Each dish was great and still managed to improve on the prior one. We were a little concerned about portion sizes about 2/3rds through, but the 2 entrees barely left room for the included dessert. Can't wait for them to move to their new location in Carlton this July (2025). Hayward deserves, and will benefit from, having its own space, which is no knock on MacMarket, which is excellent.

    We are local to McMinnville and decided to treat ourselves by visiting Hayward on our date night. Being parents, it is always nice to find local gems like Hayward. And let's be honest, Hayward qualifies as a regional gem in our book. The fresh made noodles in the pasta were amazing and the sauce was bonkers good! We are excited to try the summer menu when the time comes! Congrats to the chef and staff at Hayward. You deserve all the success and rewards that come with doing the amazing job you do!
