Green Pig Bistro is a great restaurant in the Clarendon neighborhood. I've been for brunch and dinner multiple times and the food is always delicious, service is fantastic, and atmosphere is lively.
Love it! Great food and amazing service always.
Great spot for brunch. Menu has everything you need without inundating with options. We look forward to returning.
Our server was very sweet, but inattentive. We were a large party of 8, and we’re all seated around 8:05. However those who hadn’t arrived early and gotten drinks at the bar didn’t get drinks until 8:45. We constantly felt like we were looking around the room searching for our waitress trying to order dinner or additional drinks the entire night. Also, i ordered the scallop dinner for my entree and was seriously disapointed I had only 3 scallops in my dish. For the price of the entree i expected more. I ended up eating my friend short ribs leftovers because i was still hungry. I don’t mean to add insult to injury, but then I ordered the pie of the night which was the pecan pie. The pie never came, and the waitress forgot to check if it had arrived, so it was another long wait. And then i was served the pie, which was still cold in the middle and didn’t have much flavor. I get it, we all have our bad nights. The restaurant didn’t seem overwhelmed, there were even a few Open tables.
Great atmosphere, great service, outstanding food.
Friendly service, decent atmosphere. The food was good, but the prices do not reflect the quality of the food. 20-40% too high in our opinion.
The waiter was fantastic and attentive and the food was high quality
WE had an amazing evening and everything was wonderful!!!! They went out of their way to accommodate us with a not easy increase to our party last minute. Highly recommend- food was terrific, service spectacular.
Outstanding food and service
Very well flavored and balanced dishes, but not worth the price.
Cozy neighborhood restaurant with delicious food and great service. We went with our 2 year old and she had a great time with the kids menu and the bucket of crayons provided.
We went with a large group (10 of us) to celebrate my Dad’s 75th birthday on Saturday night. Our server was outstanding and so was the food. They easily accommodated 3 generations of our family - finding something everyone could enjoy eating. Our server made us all feel right at home and took care to make sure everyone felt cared for. My only issue was that it is very loud and that made it a bit harder to engage my Dad since he is older and a little bit deaf.
Love this hidden gem in Clarendon. They service breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Excellent service and presentation.
The food was very good, particularly the fried chicken and biscuits app. The service was fine just a bit confusing. The noise level can get a bit loud. Would go again.
The cornbread was very good. My flank steak was goo. However, the arugula salad that comes with it was extremely salty.
The food was delicious! I’ll definitely be back.
My husband and I went for Sunday brunch and it was okay. The service was below average. The waitress walked away multiple times when we had more questions or wanted to put our orders in. The cinnamon rolls were good. The actual brunch meals were maybe slightly above average. Price was fair for what you get.
Ambiance was good, and service was good. Food was okay, it wasn’t anything special.
The beet salad was exceptional, but our entrees were mediocre (hanger steak, risotto). Service was decent, but not super attentive (we had to flag him down to order and pay, and our water glasses were often empty). All in all, I probably would not go back again.
The first time I came here for dinner, our group sat outside on the patio. Tonight was inside at the “common” table seating. Fortunately I got there early enough and was able to pick the end seats so we had a little distance between the next few couples. I’m personally not a huge fan of sitting so close to others that they can hear every word you say, but that’s just me. The food was good but slightly overpriced (maybe by $1-3 per dish). Nice bar area with good happy hour specials. I probably won’t come back because of the seating.
This was our first visit to Green Pig and I have to say, it was great! We had the best time during Saturday brunch. The food was excellent! Fresh, wholesome food is a dying concept but Green Pig definitely delivered. I will be back very soon!
It was great to get a last minute reservation for Valentine’s Day. There was a boisterous party that was very loud. Our service was a little slower than usual. Food was good .
Great ambiance and vibe that seems like it would be an awesome dining experience. They completely forgot one of our entrees, no recognition at all by the folks who delivered the order, no follow-up by our waitress ever. We had to hunt down a random employee to get the message to the kitchen. My Nashville Fried Chicken was super heavy on the fried batter outside stuff and very light on the chicken. This is now a few mediocre experiences here in a row. Will be looking elsewhere next time.
I love GPB but several of our orders had something wrong and it seemed a little off on a quiet Sunday. I've found busier evenings to be a more satisfying experience there.
Restaurant was very loud in back dining area near kitchen and had to strain to hear the person seated directly across from me
We enjoyed brunch at Green Pig Bistro. The salmon eggs Benedict, corned beef hash and American egg breakfast were all delicious. Large portions and friendly service. Clean restaurant with ample seating and very good coffee!
Solid food and good cocktails. Attentive service. One of top neighborhood options in Clarendon. Could benefit from better wine list.
Wine by the glass was overpriced but otherwise a fun place with good food.
Excellent service, yummy food. Had a fantastic time at one of my DC favorites.
Generally, I think the quality of the food has come down overtime. Perhaps it is what I ordered or maybe it was just a bad day to go there. Though given that it was not a crowded Sunday I doubt the latter. Overall, still an okay place to go for regular brunch.
The reservation was changed multiple times and each time the hostess was pleasant and understanding.
Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Her suggestions for cocktails and apps were spot on!
Always a great experience here! My favorite restaurant in Arlington!
This is one of our absolute faves. Excellent food, a menu that is regularly refreshed to include seasonal and new items while keeping the reliable top sellers. Service is always attentive but not intrusive, and the wine/beer list is always on point. Plat du joir on Monday - fried chicken platter - is the bomb. Brunch is great, desserts are delightful. All around... so glad they've come and stayed and are consistently killin it! Probably the restaurant we go to most often.
Love the chx and waffles, the BLT, and cinnamon roll. All the food is delicious and our server was very efficient! I appreciated it.
Really good service. We ordered from the brunch menu a shrimp and grits and a chicken and waffles, with a side order of cinnamon rolls. Very hearty food but good taste overall!
Consistently good food and service
Great food quality and excellent service, as always
Best restaurant in Arlington. Delicious food, outstanding service and excellence bar.
I ordered the special, chicken fried steak and being unaware that it was steak instead of chicken was a surprise but my learning curve. However, It was tough and parts were grisly. Will come again but not for that meal. Ellen
