With its warm, inviting, and modern design, Granite City Food & Brewery’s expansive interior features a spacious and comfortable dining room, four-sided modern, full-service bar, as well as an outdoor patio. The on-site brewery, with award-winning hand-crafted micro-brews, is visible from the main dining and bar areas. The restaurant also showcases an open kitchen featuring chef developed, handcrafted made-from-scratch cuisine, including innovative signature entrees, flatbreads and more.

Granite City Food & Brewery’s signature brews, which are made on-site, include The Duke (Pale Ale), The Bennie (Bock), The Northern (American Style Light Lager) and The Stout. Seasonal brews are featured throughout the year.

Many tables not kept clean. Two the guests at our table received wrong food. Plus when sandwiches were corrected the same fries was brought instead of fresh fries so the fries were cold and had hardened. Napkins for the silverware was bathroom dispenser Napkins unprofessional looking. Service overall very low par.

Good experience tonight. We had a freebie for a starter, so went with our favorite, the roasted Brussels sprouts, and then split the Mediterranean Chicken. It was a bit poorly timed, as the entree was ready while we we were still mid-starter, but that’s a kitchen problem, not our servers, and she did take excellent care of us. The freebie starter made the value 5 stars, of course, with all the rest of the ratings standing on their own.

To my disbelief, we normally love Granite City. This Father's Day was terrible. The menu was nothing that it was supposed to be. The only meat option was Pork & Sea food no Beef, No Chicken. My family doesn't eat pork and my son is allergic to sea food. The server was terrible and unprofessional. Very unhappy

Let me say we love Brunch at Granite City so decided to go to dinner there this evening and what a terrible choice. It all started when we walked in and the hostess was not in a good mood. Told her we had reservations and then she proceeded to answer two phone calls while we just stood there. Then she had to go clean the table before she sat us. When I made reservation, told them it was her Birthday… Our server appeared once we got seated and took our cocktail order and then approximately 10 minutes later she came back to our table and said the bar is running alittle behind but do you want to go ahead and order and we did. Now mind you, we are sitting in a booth in the bar. 20 minutes passed and still no drinks and I stopped a man dressed in casual clothes who appeared to be the manager as he was also behind the bar and he was and told him we had been waiting 20 minutes for our drinks and he said the bartender had a meltdown so they were running behind and asked us what we ordered and he would go get our drinks which he did. Our food came 27 minutes after we ordered it so you be the judge, I had the Prime Rib Sandwich and she had a Burger. Both meals average at best. No one offered to refill our water or ask if we’d like another drink. Our server came by once and ask if everything was good. Did nothing for her birthday and then when we were ready to leave, we had to flag her down to get our bill. In the meantime, the manager was arguing with an employee at the bar so we all could hear telling her to go home. He was upset with this employee and she was definitely upset over the situation. Bottom line, what we anticipated as being a quiet dinner was nothing more than a %$@#show. And had I been the manager since I complained about the time it took to get drinks, he was in and out of the bar all the time I would have stopped at our table jus to check on us but that didn’t happen either. May go back for Brunch but never to dine there.

Granite City always is a nice relaxing place to eat. They were very accommodating with my being in a wheelchair. Food and service were both very good. We enjoyed the Sunday Brunch very much.

We had not been to Granite City for brunch in a few years. The quality of the food has gone down. The women’s bathroom smelled horrible and is in desperate need of a remodel/deep cleaning. We sat in the bar and the server spoke down at his order pad and could not be heard clearly. We told him that the table felt dirty and he did not offer to clean it. We finally asked for a towel to clean it ourselves. The young man working the egg station was very friendly. Overall we will not be back.
