It was our first visit to your restaurant and it did not disappoint. In fact we were very happy with the service, the staff were all very attentive, friendly and knowledgable.

We had the CNY banquet, where picked 5 dishes plus a Yii Sheng, all were good portion and delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely and exudes a bit of class with their table settings, furnishing and decorations. Prices were reasonable.

Would like hesitate to recommend my friends and relatives to come for a good feed.

The lack of vegetarian options and the manger's insistence they could not do anything outside of the set menu was a disaster for my chief guest. That meant spring rolls, san choy bow, seasonal vege's and vegetarian friend rice.

I and another guest asked if they could concoct a vegetarian dish with chinese mushrooms / broccoli or similar. We were flatly told No! No other restaurant has done that to me.

Vegetarian's are more and more common and the restaurants attitude was not pleasant.

Nice place, friendly staff, most of the dishes are great. Staff sometimes forgot what we asked for (such as chili oil, tissue paper, etc.) and need to keep asking for them repeatedly.

Our first time venturing into the city for a while to experience a nostalgic anniversary at the Old Melbourne., but definitely won’t be the last. We chose the Peking Duck for two people and it didn’t disappoint. The set meal also came with two extra mains of our choosing and everything was delicious. Way too much food so we took some home for the next night. The service was exemplary and the decor cosy and extravagant. Good value for money, and you can top off your evening with a nightcap in the sky bar upstairs in the totally revamped Old Melbourne - definitely not as you remember it ! Would highly recommend for a special night out of authentic Chinese dining reminiscent of a Raffles experience in years gone by.

Lovely decor, ok food, but expensive for what you get. Very noisy for a fine dining establishment. The waiters aren't well managed or seem not to know how to work the hotel system. I wouldn't go there again

Food was really great, very authentic and nice touch that the chef brings it out to your table. The restaurant is a lovely decor and good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and very attentive.

The guests at a large table close to us was VERY VERY LOUD!!! affecting the enjoyment of our meal considerably.
It would have helped if your manager could asked them to lower their exuberance, for the benefit of your other guests.
You will come back, as your food is really quite excellent, but hopefully to a much better ambience next time

I wanted to like it as I hv been there twice before and enjoyed the ambience and food. Unfortunately this time it was noisy and the dishes were very much in the bland side. The service was above average . I may try the dim sum but not the dinner again!

Always great food and service. The Peking Duck, pancakes and San chow boa is worth eating if a bit different to what I have eaten before.

Foods are value for money with the special discount, foods taste delicious and good. Service staffs are friendly and pleasant; when dinner talks noise level are bad unable to communicate with friends needs something to soften it.

Great food, friendly service, value for money .. went there for our Christmas lunch and the staff were very accommodating with our requests and didn't rush us out the door.

The decorations are a beautiful mix of modern and ancient. The minute we entered in GO, we felt very welcomed. The service was top star through the whole night. Every single dish we ordered was delicious beyond wow. We enjoyed our wonderful night of Chinese culture through both the love in food and people in the restaurant.

The service as always was excellent. Kevin is simply marvellous. He is very helpful explaining the menu and recommending wines and is backed up by his eager staff. The food is first rate. Best Peking duck in town and carved at table is a real treat!!! The new wine list is a huge improvement on what was previously a very ordinary list of wines. The choice of wines is now diverse and caters for all tastes. I'm definitely coming back again

Service was amazing, friendly and funny. All were very welcoming and the food was sensational. My husband and i could not fault a thing. We will be back! The Tom Yum cocktail is a must to try.

Not only lovely food and helpful staff but the decor is beautiful. Such lovely surrounds to enjoy a special dinner.

Great place with good service whereby the staffs were very attentive. Great meals especially the 2 course Peking duck and their wasabi prawns were one of our favourite on the night!
