So very good overall. As expensive as I thought it would be, but it was worth it for a great night out special occasion.

Amazing food and service. I’d eaten at GR Steak in Las Vegas once and GR Vancouver did not disappoint! I’d definitely eat here again and Sandeep took excellent care of us:)

Went here for the first time for my mom’s 60th birthday dinner. Our server was Sandeep and he provided extremely satisfying service. Super friendly and would definitely be back again. Food quality was fantastic. I really enjoyed the house steak sauce. Maybe we will get to see Gordon Himself sometime haha. Ps: please let the chefs and sandeep know how well they did thank you.

Best service I’ve had in a restaurant. The decor feels regal. The bread is the best bread I’ve had. I tried Beef Wellington for the first time here. It’s actually really filling and comes with its own sides, so we ended up taking some home.

Overall the food was delicious. Exceptional mentions that will make me revisit again is of course the Wellington, mushroom risotto and of course the sticky toffee pudding.

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. I am such a huge fan of Chef Ramsay and it was thrilling to be able to eat at one of his restaurants and taste the things he talks about on his shows. The tenderloin melted in my mouth, and the Mac and cheese and brussels sprouts were absolutely incredible. The staff are amazing too…I enjoyed watching them all work. You can tell the restaurant is properly staffed and well trained. My server, Brenda, was exceptional. I’m sure Chef Ramsay would be happy with the standards here. Looking forward to returning soon!

The service was good and the food was very good but at those prices the expectation is higher. The restaurant is open to the lobby area so not separately contained which takes away from the fine dining element. The beef Wellington (which states it is for two) comes with 4 pieces plus the end - there is more than enough food for two to share, yet our server was trying to get us to order multiple starters and sides. We did get the pork belly to start and the warm bread, so ended up having leftovers. There is a system fee charge if you pay with credit card but that isn’t explained - you just get surprised when the bill comes. Overall it was a good experience but for me, considering the cost of the meal and drinks, I don’t see a need to go back.

Lounge seating underwhelming for the class of menu - and prices - being charged. Food while excellent (the Beef Welli is a must have) is serviced by an obviously junior team who seemed more concerned with allocated table times than guest experience. We were asked to move to the bar despite wanting to order more only to observe empty tables until we departed nearly an hour after we settled the main bill. Been there, done that, unlikely to revisit. Better watering holes downtown.

The food was amazing, loved the fact that when they brought out your food they explained to you what it was and how it was prepared. We had the Beef Wellington which was cooked perfectly. Would definitely visit again when we’re in the city! Thanks from Haida Gwaii
