   The food and service was outstanding. The halibut fish tacos were the best I have ever had. Georgie’s is the best restaurant on the Oregon coast.

   Food was delicious. Server friendly. Bench seats are not super comfortable. Will ask for table next time.

   We’re locals and love going to Georgie’s. Always great food and service, except this time, service was really bad.

   Always go to Georgie’s to share with out of town guests, business associates and friends. The quality of food and service is consistent and there aren’t any surprises.

   We were driving the coast, and we were hungry. We looked up best places to eat in Newport, and Georgie's popped up as #1. We booked a table and walked in ten minutes later. It was 2:30 in the afternoon, which we thought was late for lunch, but the place was packed. And, even though it was packed, we still had great service. I had read reviews about the stuffed salmon, so that's what I wanted, but it wasn't on the menu. The server, Omar, said it was a dinner menu item, but he asked the chef, and the chef said he would make it for me. It was excellent! Hubby had the halibut fish 'n chips, which was absolutely delicious. The clam chowder was yummy, too. I must also mention the blackberry lemon drop (YUM!), and the marionberry crisp dessert that they served with a candle and the birthday song, which was OUTSTANDING! We are so happy we stopped here!

   Shawn was an amazing server, she was both knowledgeable and super helpful. The sunset was amazing, the restaurant has automatic shade openers and an automatic window washing that happens right before the Sun starts to set. The pictures were amazing and the views were spectacular. I had the parmesan encrusted halibut without any Alfredo with the baked potato and it was excellent. We also had the fried zucchini as an appetizer. I loved the berry cobbler. It was a great experience.

   Waitress was lively, food delicious. It was a prom night for some high school so fun to see the kids.

    Our food and drinks were excellent. When I made the reservation thru open table it asked if special occasion I said 50th anniversary and requested a table by the window. When we checked in we were told by very uppity young lady window not guaranteed. Why ask if you don’t care.
