Founding Farmers - Tysons
Our server was great, knew the dishes and could make recommendations. Food was very good and not too pricey. While the noise level was moderate it was better than most restaurants I"ve been to. At least you could hear the person across from you. Parking right next door and validated!
Founding Farmers came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! The seafood combo devilish eggs were great and the Cucumber delight was the cocktail hit of the night. Spicy chicken & donut was amazing. Of note, I highly recommend getting a table in Diego’s section...he was a wonderful server, very attentive, and knew the menu inside & out. We had a great night celebrating!
Rob was a fantastic server who did not disappoint in his suggestions of what to order. Attentive and engaging service and food was delicious. Loved our campfire trout and the desserts where amazing.
We enjoyed an early dinner at the bar seating:; Laura was an amazing bartender and server. Everything from our drinks to dessert was fantastic! Look forward to a return visit.
As always, the food was excellent along with the service. It’s always a little loud so I know what to except. Brunch is a little price but well worth it!
Our experience was amazing our waiter Diego was superb .
Really helpful and sweet . Always checked in to see if we
We’re ok very attentive .greet
The lunch buffet was delicious and worth every penny. A little loud.
The food quality has gone downhill; meat is gristly, desserts were stale, actual figs replaced with super sweet fig jam. Service was mixed as always. Parking validation did not actually work.
Despite making reservations we had to wait
bartenders were pleasant and engaging, wait staff was terrific, food was terrific. Good time.
Loved the food. Make sure you make a reservation. Great selection.
This farm-to-table restaurant never fails to provide a superb dining experience. Hand crafted cocktalis, baked oysters, garlic black pepper chicken wings and tender, crispy porchetta were among the highlights this round!
Delicious food, glacial service, exorbitant parking fees. If you can get there by foot and have the time, the food is delicious.
Celebrating 2 birthdays at Founding Farmers and had a great experience. Service was outstanding with helpful tips on menu decisions and drinks. Absolutely recommend to everyone!
Had to wait even though we had a reservation.
Great service, Hilda our server was so nice, a truly nice experience, and the food never never disappoints, I have been to several FF in the DMV because their food is excellent, but Tyson’s Corner is my favorite I love their brunch
The food for weekend brunch is consistently excellent.
The Tyson’s corner location lacked the selection and decor of the King of Prussia restaurant. I was so disappointed. Also, the food was cold and there were no sneeze guards. Food was just sitting out like a continental breakfast at a hotel. I’ll stick to KOP FF. Staff was friendly.
Waited over 30 minutes with a reservation to be seated. Also the waitress did not acknowledge my friends bday. She kind of blew it off.
We come into town once a year from Pittsburgh for my birthday this is my dinner pick every time. (I get my favorite the balsamic blue burger.) The only negative I wanted to get take out on a Saturday we were leaving at noon but was told no because it was a buffet lunch could not take orders until after 2pm. Just disappointed we could not take some home. Still my favorite place please bring one to Pittsburgh.
First time visitor to this restaurant and definitely will return. Food was delicious and service was great! Thank you!!
Great food and great service — this place never seems to disappoint! Scottish Joe is a great server! His name is actually, Joe.
On this occasion there were some minor mistakes with our order, but overall the food was still very good. Main complaint is how LOUD this restaurant is. The owners should consider adding acoustic tiles or hiding some sound-absorbing material in the ceiling. It’s borderline intolerable for a business lunch in the main hall.
Great food! Drinks were fantastic! Always a great place to meetup with friends for dinner and drinks. Make sure to come hungry!
Tonight was unusual in my experience with Founding Father's, but it was not good. The food took forever to arrive and it was not well made. The manager tried to make things right with another meal and a free dessert, but even the free food wasn't good. We will give them another chance as our experience to date have been positive other than today.
Great food. Great Service. Great Value. Large variety on the menu. The Impossible Burger is truly a worthy beef substitute. Never had a meatless burger in my life, but ordered my own after trying my wife’s on a previous visit.
I've been there twice now with my family and we agree that the best thing we've had are the buttermilk biscuits. The freshness cannot be described in words. The glazed chicken wings ($11.50) are decent. The Impossible Burger is the closest-to-meat-tasting/feeling vegetarian burger I've had. The scallops were good in the meuniere dish but I didn't like the risotto much. The cedar plank salmon tasted good but is nothing special/creative.
Every time I go to Founding Farmers, I have such a great time - the food, ambiance, and service are fantastic!
Frank was our server and did a great job.
Food was awesome!
drinks strong and flavorful.
The stars are based on the meal, not the 55 minute wait past our arrival time. Just once I’d love to be seated on time or early. My time is valuable and you’ve been doing this business for 10 years - and you can’t accurately - within 10 minutes predict seating? Anything over 15 should be an exception yet there were 30 of us in the lobby who had been waiting for more than 30 minutes.
Really wanted a nice salad. Menu choices were inadequate. Ended up with grilled cheese a couple spoonfuls of watery tomato soup. Definitely disappointed.
Outstanding service, good food, fun ambiance. We were a party of 11 and were accommodated promptly. Great menu selections and the food was really good. appetizers, desserts, entrees, all excellent.
Attended a 50th birthday celebration and the food and service was outstanding.
Food was good. Our server was nice but didn’t clear plates. Noise level was high in the upstairs dining area but quieter down after a while.
As always FF Tysons never disappoints. It's definitely worth the drive from DC. I prefer this location over DC. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite places for brunch.
My wife’s birthday. Do enjoy non-paper infused bloody Mary’s Some spicy is fine but don’t need extra. Also our reservation was 12:30. We arrived at 12:33 but were not seated until after 1
Overall it was ok. For Saint Patrick’s Day it was busy and bustling with energy. To be expected!
Teach the waiter how to pour coffee into the cup and not all over the table. Had it happened once ... simple accident ... the fact it happened four times ... purposeful.
And that it happened with the water also ... enough to leave with a bad experience and for me to second guess that I actually tipped him and shouldn’t have. But then, that impacts everyone else.
So ... Teach Mike how to pour water and coffee for the next guest!
FOOD WAS VERY VERY GREASY
If you have a 830am reservation. many people show up 10 to 15 minutes early. The doors are locked. They don’t start serving un 845. It’s very clumsy And presents disorganization.
After we sat down and had 50% of our meal the waitress came back and said oh yes we have these other special things you could order. One of those things I would have ordered.
Further, this is the second time we’ve had a gift cards problem. they were either empty Of value and we had to prove that there was an amount placed on the card. Fortunately the person that did gave the gift to me was in our party. Next visit we had two gift cards. They would only except one. What difference does it make when you use the amount on the gift cards.
About the value. Without any liquor drinks we had four people for brunch and with a 20% tip The bill was $175. You can determine if that’s a lot for breakfast.
