Honestly pretty lackluster experience. The server might have been new idk but he was not very helpful and seemed confused a lot. The food was pretty salty and nothing was great. We got the deviled eggs- didn’t like. The farmer salad was great however. A salad had broccolini in it so I asked if we could get a side of broccolini as my 2 YO loves broccoli. The server said he would check and never said anything, so I followed up just saying can we get or no? If not I wanted green beans. He said he’d check but ended up sending a manager out to say no- this was weird because I said it was no big deal we’d take green beans, I was legit just asked if possible. Just odd. The cookie dessert was literally burnt like they were hockey pucks which was INFURIATING. Idk why I’m spending $9 on cookies that are all over cooked. Honestly probably the last time I go here as the service and food has gotten continuously worse with each trip. ALSO, the “14oz” prime rib was anything but maybe they weight before they cook it?! Lollll maybe 7 oz.
Slow kitchen but great servers and great food.
Two of our group came very late, and the wait staff was very gracious and gave us all excellent service. The food was delicious, as always.
Good overall meal and service, would recommend and will be back soon!
When I booked with the this place I specifically confirmed that I’m celebrating my 1st anniversary with my wife. But unfortunately they didn’t do ANYTHING at all for that not even getting us a nice table spot. Not a small peace of cake!! They just don’t care about your special occasions!! The food was alright nothing special because it was a bit cold. But what really annoyed me with the service is that the waitress put the cheque on the table while we were still eating, as if she is pushing us to leave!! Absolutely not a high class place if you have important guests. Imagine all that when it was our anniversary, I wonder how the service would look like if it was just a casual meal?!.
I'm very sorry the rushed service & lukewarm food failed to make this a special Anniversary dinner. :( As for flowers or complimentary items, I'm sorry to share we don't offer this and feel badly this was unknown. Of course, we're always happy to help with anything prearranged (if you send flowers to the restaurant, have balloons for the table, pre-order a special dessert, etc.). The food is always outstanding at FF. Never had a miss there. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The waitress was terrific. Burger was delicious, fried chicken meal was good but not great. Bread pudding was gigantic and very tasty and not overly sweet.
The service was good; our waitress seems a bit overwhelmed with tables and customers. Perhaps there is a shortage of staff. Food is great... Including the Salad always fresh and not wilted. Southern Chicken is delicious!
Good ambiance and food. Consistent quality. Waiter was polite but service could be better.
We enjoyed our lunch very much, and would be happy to be back thank you!
I had a main course salad with fresh lettuce (good), a microscopic amount of guacamole, and tasteless shrimp. No crab because they were out. No bread offered as part of the meal. The waiter was slow and glum. And it was expensive -- $23 before tax and tip. I've had good and bad experiences at Founding Farmers. I think I will now give up.

We had not been to this restaurant since the pandemic. We ate outside because it was a nice evening and we therefore had a quiet table. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Our food came promptly but bar service was very slow and our second round of drinks arrived after we had eaten. The food was average, not nearly as good as it had been when I ate at Founding Farmers before the pandemic. Some items were god but the steak was overdone and the brisket was very fatty. Finally, for a generally disappointing meal we were charged an extra 5% "pandemic recovery charge."
The food was cold and did not taste well at all! All four meals were disgusting.
Good was quite good; unfortunately the service was terrible.

Food was good, I real enjoyed the beignets. It's better to make a reservation since this place is popular
Good food, great service, nice patio
Extremely hard to park; outdoor seating is very close to the street. Very busy; service is ok, not very precise. Food selection is moderate, brought fast. Overall is ok, but super noisy.
We were seated right on time and consistent with our reservation. Our server was efficient and quick. We were finished eating within the hour.
We had a great meal though service was a bit poor.
Excellent food and a good variety for all at our table. Servvice was very good without being intrusive.
Great farm to table food but has become a bit pricey
Founding Farmers apologized to me for the problems and the apology was sincere, not lip service. I therefore am changing my rating from 2 stars to 4. Just be aware of the noise problem. Ask for a downstairs or outside table.
Original review - Food is good and service is decent. However, the noise level in the upstairs part of the restaurant is unacceptable and makes for a very unenjoyable evening. My wife and I had to literally shout in order to have a conversation.
Might return for outdoor seating.

The food was very good. Fried green tomatoes were tasty. Fresh goat cheese ravioli was delicious. Only negative was the lack of availability of some things on the menu- four cheese ravioli. Service was pleasant. Cocktails were uniquely delicious and made well.
The waitress we got yesterday evening was perfect which made the evening dinner more enjoyable.

We always enjoy ourselves here. However, this time it was incredibly humid and hot inside. I had to fan myself with a small menu for two hours. The appetizers and drinks were amazing, but for the first time, my southern chicken was not good. It was not seasoned well, my breasts were tiny and looked like thighs. The rest of the meal was great, as usual. Great location!
It was surprising to have a server not wearing a mask. Although I understand it was not required per the server if they had been vaccinated and she did offer to wear one if I wanted her to I felt awkward in making the request after she had already been present at the table. To be honest I was more comfortable with the other servers around all wearing masks.
I hope it all turns out okay, one can only hope.
I made a reservation 3 days in advance but when I got there on Thursday for lunch there was no table inside for at least 20 minutes. There was, however, seating outside immediately thankfully in the shade but a bit buggy ad quite warm.
Our waitress was a delight and service was impeccable. I had the turkey avocado sandwich which was excellent.
Great experience! The one thing is my steak was well done when I asked for it medium. I’m not one to send a plate back - I just don’t order that entree again, if im not too satisfied with another entree, I just remove that establishment from my list. Everyone else at the table said their food was good so overall I think it was a great night! I will return 🙂 but not for the steak 😉
We thoroughly enjoyed the food, with the mac and cheese being a standout. The waffles from the chicken and waffles were excellent, but the chicken is a bit dry. The butternut squash mascarpone ravioli was quite tasty and the portion size was reasonable. The steak was cooked as requested and of high quality.
My biggest issue was that the room was uncomfortably hot and they don't automatically provide ice with water. Once requested, though, they made sure we had plenty of ice going forward.

I sent an email to the restaurant. The upper level, where I was seated was hot and crowded. There was sadly no brunch buffet, didn’t know Tyson was the only location that offered one. I ordered the Chicken & waffles. The waffle was dry and hard and there were only 4 chicken tenders that looked my like chicken nuggets. Although small they were tasty. I did enjoy the grits and the eggs I Ordered. The waiter was friendly. Waffles need work, the gravy was not good and the chicken should have been 6 pieces.

three of us for brunch had fluffy,light, tasty blueberry pancakes
The smoked salmon benedict and Arnold Palmer were very good. The wait was a little long, but understandable on a busy Sunday for brunch. Hot tip if you eat outside - the cicadas are there too!
