Fogo de Chao - Bethesda

Our waiter was absolutely horrible, he messed up the only couple of things we had to order from him. Then he kept trying to shove the $195 package down out throat. Then he disappeared. For some reason they would not stop at our table with the meat or cheese, I finally had to ask someone if the would bring certain meats to our table.

The food is always top notch at fogo and the servers were constantly coming around to offer us different meats. My only complaint was that the restaurant seemed to be at full capacity as every table was taken vs the 25% that’s currently allowed for indoor dining..

Wonderful experience!! Food is delish with perfect wine pairing - Gotta try the Wagyu! Modern and stylish ambience with outstanding service. A special thank you to Krista, Fabricio and Moises. Can’t wait to be back!

We had a very pleasant evening, our daughter birthday!

My boyfriend and I decided to go here for our anniversary! We are happy we did! It was our first time there and will definitely be returning! The staff was very friendly and helpful as this was our first time. I could not stop talking about this place to my family.

Overrated! We did get to enjoy the food at all. They put us outside it was cold and The guys would come to.the doorway with the food turn around and walk away. If you didn't yell for them to bring it to you you wouldn't get any. Too pricy to not get the full experience.

This was my first dining experience at Fogo de Chao and it was very good, the concept works very well and the special offer (Wagyu beef on salt slab for two for the price of one) was very much worth it. Delicious food, great salad bar with sides too! Loved the complimentary cheesy puffs, yuca fries and fried bananas too. Service was outstanding, attentive and pro-active but without being overwhelming.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to celebrate a special occasion, or have a lovely meal.

Have been here a million times but not since Covid.

What a wonderful Experience and our server was so polite and knowledgeable and courteous, will definitely be going back. Such an amazing night.

As usual this place has good food and good drink but the service was really off that day. We had to keep asking for drinks and refills on our sides which is unusual. It got rather annoying after we asked 3 different managers and our servers for water and bread and still 20 minutes later we did not have either.

Other than my Covid concerns we had a really nice evening. It was amazing sitting inside a restaurant again. Brought our 12 y/o for the first time and she had an absolute blast! I wish there was a better way to receive the meat instead of it being in everyone’s face at each table. When they cut the meat, it’s only a few inches from my face. Right now, with Covid, I just didn’t feel safe. Can you find a small table that rolls to cut the meat for people? Also your tables were almost all full, I thought you had to be at a lower % for indoor dining. I was sitting in the small area behind the hostess and every table was taken. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want you to go out of business, I love your food! But just want us safer until most of the state is vaccinated.

Absolutely amazing.

We came out for Valentine’s Day weekend! It was our first time there and we will definitely be back! We spent a pretty penny but it was cheap compared to the total experience. We were so full and happy omgee! PLEASE BOOK FOGO!!! Get your pockets together and go! Get their signature margarita and a full plate of fried cheese and go to town! Usually my boyfriend hates when he can’t get Buffalo wings and a burger but at Fogo he was beyond pleased. Thanks for such a great experience.

The Wagu Steak was absolutely phenomenal! The outdoor seating created a very memorable experience. The service was over the top me and the fiancé will definitely be returning back to this spot (great for individuals on a Keto diet) I would give them 10 stars is possible, our server gave us great recommendations and the manager, visited our table to make sure our experience was everything we expected and then some!

Anniversary

Service from Carlos was amazing.

Had trouble getting meats how we wanted them prepared (medium rare or rare). They would come over and then when we told them how we wanted the meat, they would disappear and never show up with that cut again.
One guy tried to give me well done lamb and told me to my face that it was rare. I told him it wasn’t and he never came back.

Ambiance is terrible, I understand it’s outside dining but they really need to do better with the tent decor.

Treated my BF for his birthday and he enjoyed every bite. He’s a trained chef so I’m very careful where we eat. They brought the buffet to the table and it worked OK. Lots of choices of salads, vegetables and chicken, salmon, etc.
Can’t wait until they can have indoor seating again. Enjoyed the music although it was a bit hard to hear as the patio started filling up with other guests. This was my second visit and we had a great time.

It was good, I would say they could be a tad more COVID aware and seat people further away from each other as we are outdoor dining only. But that’s ok! Food was delicious and staff was so very kind.

THE MEATS WERE OVERCOOKED AND DRY. I KNOW WE ARE ON A PANDEMIA AND IS DIFICULT FOR RESTAURANTS TO KEEP THE SAME QUALITY BUT THIS TIME WAS REALLY BAD THANK YOU

Ate here for NYE. Limited outdoor dining but it was relatively warm with the heater on (and at 3pm). Everything else was the same as usual - Wonderful, attentive service, amazing food and great deals on alcohol. Glad they were able to accommodate us even with outdoor dining only.

It was her first time and it was great!

I should have known better to go to a place like this during covid. But they certainly could do a lot better. The tent was very cold , their heaters were not working that well. The meats were coming out very seldom . When requested a specific item , it took forever then they bring a very small portion. So we sit is freezing cold weather eating a bite of steak every 10 min.
Very disappointing, I wouldn’t suggest anyone trying it until they are back to normal.

I arrived and outdoor seating was the only option, given the pandemic. The fuse on the heater blew. Consequently, we decided to get the carry out special for four for $90.

The service was outstanding,. The food could be more varied. I missed farofa, costela .

Awesome dining as usual, even in a pandemic. Service was amazing and food was as well.

Very slow service. Meat takes way too long to come out of the kitchen. Not replacing plates when over used. Took over 30 minutes to checkout as they couldn’t make my promotion code to work.
Not a pleasant experience overall.
Just relocated from MI where the experience was always excellent across the board. So disappointing to see the difference in quality of food and service at the same restaurant between different States.
BTW: the bar tender was amazing. Martinis were very delicious 🍸.
