My sister and I hadn’t gone out for brunch since before the pandemic. We’d also never eaten brunch at any of the Farmers Restaurant Group locations, so we figured Farmers Fishers Bakers would be great place to go. Despite the brunch being buffet-style, our server was extremely attentive. She made sure our coffee and water were always filled and our dirty plates were cleared. The food was filling, not heavy, and the brunch offers a variety of foods. From French toast topped with Bananas Foster, to seafood jambalaya (and many more options I didn’t mention), there’s something for everyone.
Great staff greate food
Amazing atmosphere, timely with the table based on reservation, food was great and an amazing value. 2 appetizers, shareable drink, 2 entrees and 2 coffee for desert @ $115. Had no idea this place was so well priced, will definitely be coming back.

These is my least favorite of the restaurant chain due to the menu, but you still can’t go wrong at any of their locations. My only complaint was the wait time. We had reservations and weren’t seated until almost 20 minutes later. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a nice fall-like afternoon and everyone clearly wanted to be out at the harbor (on the patio), so I understood the lingering guests wanting to take in the sites. The energy was lively and love their view-the-menu on the mobile site initiative as well as the QR scan to pay for your bill like other restaurants have imposed during these pandemic times. And the Zombies are delicious.
We have wanted to try this place for a while... and am sad to say that COVID has not done any favors. Clearly understaffed... our poor server was spread way too thin, and did not seem to have the time to give us the experience we wanted when celebrating my husbands birthday.

Excellent covered and uncovered outdoor seating with good distancing. Nice view of the big fountain. Extensive menu has something for everybody.
I never write reviews, but this experience warranted one and hopefully the restaurant can figure out a way to remedy what seem to be major problems. I used to consider this to be one of the better restaurants in DC as far as food/ambiance goes so it was very disappointing to see the state it was in when I attempted to dine there. All of the unoccupied tables outside hadn’t been cleared/cleaned, the flower pots contained dead flowers or just dirt. Based on what was visible to customers, I can only presume to guess what the kitchen looked like. Once we were finally brought to our table we waited for 15 mins before deciding to leave. Nobody even acknowledged us; there were a total of 7 occupied tables so it wasn’t due to them being busy. We walked next door to Guapo’s and had great service/food so they will be getting my business from now on until Farmers can figure out what they’re doing!

Lovely outdoor seating area. It was a bit sunny and there was limited shade. Food was good, but you’re stuck with whatever options are being served for brunch only. French toast was amazing! Brunch drinks were mediocre.
Their brunch menu is now a buffet only. I wasn’t very impressed by this as my eggs were cold, I had limited options that I could eat, and would have preferred they stuck to the old way of doing brunch. I know COVID has made everyone revamp things, but I feel a buffet is counter intuitive to reducing the spread and adhering to the CDC guidelines.
We did the plated buffet. Most of my hot food items were room temperature. We sat outside and the ambience was not appealing at all. The chairs are old and dirty looking, the flower beds that hung behind us were mainly just dirt. The line was terribly long. And the first batch of cinnamon rolls, that were just left on the table with none of us around, were burnt and cold. The servers were great though! I normally go to the Tyson’s location and have never had an issue. This was my birthday brunch and I must say I was disappointed.

Delicious food and great service in a beautiful and lively location. Major plus for having outdoor seating.
The food at Farmers Fishers Bakers is fantastic. I have been 3-4 times now and I have never left disappointed in the food. All apps are great, specifically the mussels (we got the ones with sausage) and the crab I think they were just pretty packed, so things were taking a little longer than normal. But overall, this place is great, and I definitely recommend it.
Cioppino was excellent! Can be noisy sitting outside with all the boats partying on the river.
I want to thank the Manager (Edward) I believe was his name. He deserves 10 stars for accommodating our birthday party. I truly appreciate his efforts and his kindness. He went above and beyond to accommodate our request for two tables for our party. Thanks to him. 👏👏👏

I would go back for the steak and frites and my boyfriend’s ribeye along with the nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon I had with my dinner. Other than that I feel let down on the sushi and the mussel part. The sushi turned into a mush, every spicy tune roll fell apart and consisted of mostly cucumber. Also, it was quite spicy to a point that it overshadowed any other flavor that may have been present. The white wine and garlic mussels were very small and didn’t seem worth the price. However, the broth was tasty. The service was rather slow and inattentive. I hope to have a better experience next time.
I went for a quality date night and the ambience of the deck was great. Service was good and drinks were fine however the food was horribleI. We Tried 3 different things and not one item impressed us and the pizza was so bad I couldn’t finish my slice. $100 later I left in disappointment as I wondered how to try and recover from such an awful experience.

The restaurant, food and location are nice, but the service was awful. Like really awful. We received a lukewarm greeting at best. We were not approached at our table for about 10-15 minutes, he put a bottle of water on the table, but no glasses. We ordered coffee with our meal but received it without milk or sugar. We asked twice for the glasses and milk and sugar, yet never received them. We also ordered a glass of OJ that never on the bill but not the table. This was seriously the WORST service I’ve ever experienced.
Unfortunately we were not able to sit outside as it was raining cats and dogs that day. We were seated at a round table that fit the 5 of us comfortably and still allowed us to social distance from each other. I had the avocado poblano cheeseburger which was quite good. I would definitely come again to eat at Farmers Fishers Bakers, hopefully to be seated at an outside table next time.
Great location, interesting menu, good quality, service friendly and accomodating.
I have eaten here before and have had good experiences. However this time drink orders were incorrect. Then, food orders were taken incorrectly and I got the wrong dish, with the steak I ordered not cooked to how it was ordered. Lastly, we were eating outside and it started to rain. The restaurant staff made no attempts to move us inside (there were plenty of tables socially distanced) or offer dryer seating. I was disappointed with my overall experience, and though I tipped well and didn't complain at the restaurant to show support during these times, I am not sure I'll be coming back.
Oh gosh!! I loved the fried brussel sprout salad and shrimp scampi with gnocchi. The waitress was very friendly and the food was outstanding. My boyfriend and I would go back again!
