Very Tasty food, very well balanced spices and herbs. Good option for gf people, good wine and generous plates.
The only negative thing for us was the desert.. the chocolate mousse was not cold and too sweet and the panna cotta coconut/salt: nice try put way too much salt.. overall I will definitely go back for sure !

Loved what has been made of an old part of Fremantles heritage buildings include the Wardens cottages now a hotel. Life is coming back to the port city after years of being in the doldrums

I love the relaxed feel of this place, beautiful theme and décor. I definitely would return to try more dishes and re-order some of my favorites. Tapas style food at it's finest - pork belly was to die for. Service was great, well-timed and friendly.

Tables are booked for 1 hour . Not really long enough to enjoy the dining experience for the price tag.

Food was not very hot on delivery to the table. Looked like it had “ sat “ at the service counter a little long - surprising as the service was quite quick. Maybe pre-cooked and kept heated - then garnished for service.

It was not that busy.

Difficult to find. Large space, quite noisy. Food was fine and not remarkable and value was good.

Great food, atmosphere, and service was fantastic! Great to see Fremantle have a happening and hip Asian inspired restaurant.

Delicious food and beautiful ambience within the venue. Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu!

We love Emily Taylor. Went for lunch last Saturday.
Tucked away in one of the entrance's to Fremantle Markets, the old Wardens Cottages and courtyard have taken on a new life after a very long sleep. Everything has been kept relatively true to the original building layout with the added pizzazz of popular high tables, open kitchen, choice of inside or courtyard dining with fabulous umbrellas and lots more. Love that the old Jacaranda tree took pride of place in the renovations as well ! Staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly. Food is mouth wateringly delectable and fresh. We opted for the 'feed me' menu at $68 for two which gave us the option of any 4 dishes from the starters and share plates menu. So many amazing choices but decided on the non meal options, ordering the Spice Island King Fish Cevice which was delightfully fresh and tangy, Tapioca Dusted Cone Bay Baramundi - cooked to perfection - the Green Curry of Eggplant had the most fabulous bite to it (so glad we ordered the side of rice at the wait staff's recommendation), the Mushroom Dapo Mufo ( fresh set tofu /spicy and numbing braised mushrooms) this had our tastebuds in raptures with it's silken excellence ! We ordered a side dish of Shark Bay Scallop Dumplings as we heard wonderful things about them - and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed Thai Mojito cocktails, followed by the Stewart and Prentice bubbles ! The one downside may be that inside dining tables are only available for a 1 1/2 hour booking - however we were invited to move outside and continue our afternoon if we wished to and we did that and very much enjoyed the DJ who set up at 2pm and played some very good and chilled music- reminiscent of Potato Head in Bali !

The food was absolutely amazing! We could not fault 1 dish. As polite and friendly as the staff were, we found they were not very attentive unfortunately. We had to ask for menus twice, ask for our wine as it never came and asked to place our order as we'd be there for 45 minutes and hadn't been able to place our order.
Other than that, the food and atmosphere was outstanding :)

Incredible venue, quick amazing food, great service and one of the best things.... you could hear each other talk and still hear the fantastic live music and the ambiance in general. Oh and we also loved the wine. Great job, we will be back!

Emily Taylor was really enjoyable! Only thing that let it down was at 7.30pm they had run out of Corona Beer so we asked for Asahi instead and had run out of that Beer also. They then offered Peroni but it was light Beer, thats not good.

Had to fend for ourselves. Not offered water. Staff inexperienced and not floor ready. This was our second attempt here and doubt we will be back

We've been here three times and have been very happy with the food, service and ambiance. We'd recommend it (and have) ... no problems.

Food was lovely and sizes were decent for tapas style Asian food.

It is very noisy. Most of the tables are high with stools. We were placed right in front of the big glass doors and every time they opened, we got blasted with the south wester! The doors opened frequently. We asked to be moved but was told another table was not available even though we looked at 2 empty low tables the whole we were there. Food is overpriced. Felt like a big noisy food hall. Won't be going back. ☹️

Food, atmosphere and drinks were amazing.Service was mostly good except we were reminded numerous times that there was another sitting and we were rushed. The staff did find us an extra 20min but it was a dampener on the evening.
We were late to order due to no parking in Freo and us waiting on some people but we were still drinking and would have continued with more cocktails and desert if we weren’t pushed out,

Great food, service and reasonably priced we ordered a lot of dishes and they all came at once that was the only issue overall will go back

Second visit to Emily Taylor, the food wasn't nearly as good as the first visit when was spot on. Great location, good vibe, perhaps we were unlucky with the chef as it was between lunch and dinner.

Food was sensational. Barramundi was our favourite of the 4 dishes we chose. Definitely have to return to try more.

The food & service was outstanding this was my second time at Emily Taylor's & won't be the last.

Food was outstanding, flavoursome, hot and very generous. Good value for money. Wine list is a bit strange but we had a good 'orange white' (made of red grapes off skins?) and pinot.

We were seated close to the galley and it was really too noisy, the only downer for an otherwise excellent night.

Really enjoyed the food, the ambience and the music. Will come back to try more food. Reasonably priced in my opinion as it's not pub food.

Tasty food. Great service. Only issue was the opentable app is clunky and didn’t really work (awkward!). Just order at the bar if you’re sitting outside. Love this venue. Staff were awesome. Lunch time feed me menu was perfect amount of food and great value for what you get. New Freo favourite for sure. Thank you Taylor crew!

We enjoyed every minute of our dining experience at Emily Taylor. The ambience of the renovated heritage building was just right - open plan yet a feeling of intimacy with noise level that was a buzz but not loud. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The dishes were different and delicious. The two dessert options were amazingly unusual and made quite a thrilling finish to a really lovely meal.

This Restaurant is a must go in Fremantle/Perth.
The quality of the food is just amazing.
Service is great too. We have been there 3 times within as many weeks.

Food was amazing and fairly priced, you get what you pay for. Service was not great, host did not explain that food and drinks is self serviced and ordered off an app. When we asked if could order drinks not on the app staff were not helpful and simply said we had to order off app and wouldn’t take orders.
Overall food was good but service was 4/10.

Went here for Valentine's Day lunch! Food was delicious, quick and efficient service too. The music was too loud for us though. Definitely will be back but will request to sit inside next time if the weather is too hot :)

Food is fabulous but had to send a couple of the yum cha dishes back as they were Cold, on return they were hot and very yummy

freshest dumplings I have ever had. Duck fried rice is a standout
