It’s not easy to find. It’s the same restaurant as 13 Tribes. You can not ask for a better view. We decided to be adventurous and try the 6 course meal which paired with 6 different wines. Every course was great and every wine was just as amazing. Usually with meals like this you get a sample of wine. Well not this one. We got 6 FULL pours! So we each basically had 1 1/2 bottles of wine! At $80 each I think that was a great deal. They had a deal that if you guessed each type of wine and it’s location, the meal would be free. We were pretty good at guessing the types but the origins were obviously difficult. It was fun! We finished the night with Mexican Coffee. If you’ve never done this, it is a must! Will definitely return!
We had a great dinner at the '12 Tribes' restaurant. Our server was wonderful. I believe her name was Guadalupe. We loved the view from the restaurant of the Los Cabos bay.
The service was wonderful. The restaurant was very confusing to get to. The map and address were inaccurate and the restaurant is inside an all-inclusive hotel. The restaurant also has a sign with a different name, so we were unsure if we were at the right place. No one was able to direct us or clarify.
Absolutely loved the entire venue! Quality of food was excellent! Ambiance was fabulous and wait staff was extremely helpful and provided great service and recommendations from the menu!
Wonderful, Ford, service and setting.
The only issue we had; is that when we booked this, we did Not know it was a set menu for New Years. The wines pairings were weak for the price. Also if you had young adults, the portion size would have left you needing McDonalds.
Chef Gabriel and his staff presented us with an absolutely delicious meal. Lovely view and soothing dinner music added to the ambience. Thank you to David too for his fantastic ceviche, its the best! Save room for dessert...the Bananas Flambé are yummilicious!
Fantastic setting, service, and food! Would absolutely come back!
Nice place right on the beach. Great views of the arch and the food was great. We also had brunch here one morning and the buffet was really good.
Just more professionalism on the service. Food and place is great
Excellent customer service, David is very knowledgeable of the foods and has a fantastic attention to detail.
I am very happy with the service. Thank you and my wife thanks everyone involved in our dinner experience.
Beautiful view overlooking Medano beach and out to Lands End. We had the ahi appetizer that was delishous, tortilla soup (lovely) and ordered shrimp even though it wasn't on the menu (butter/galic and coconut with a lovely mango sauce). The coconut prawns were huge (eight of them!). The margaritas were very good. Lovely guitar music played, not too loud or intrusive, seemed just about right. A nice evening in a beautiful setting.
It was very quiet for a Saturday night. The violin player was amazing! Check your bill, we were over charged in wine but thankfully caught it before our Cc was charged. We went to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and included these details in the reservation and mentioned at dinner and no acknowledgement. Blanked tuna was great, the fried Sea Bass that my husband had was okay.
Great Cuisine with very high quality Mexican accents.
Great way to celebrate our 4th of July, good food, good service, good entertainment!
Delicious meal and wine in a beautiful, romantic setting. Waitstaff is very knowledgeable and attentive.
Restaurant View can't get any better. Service started strong, but over the course of a couple of hours was a chore to get desert or check.
Food was respectable, they try to go a little too fancy when they don't have to. I would say 75% of it was very very good.
I suggest the Pre Fixe Menu, very good value for all you get.
Suggest they try not to pretty up the food as much with all the razzle dazzle and let the food speak for itself.
Services and good were very good. Restaurant is beautiful. However, it overlooks the Mango Deck, which is a pretty rowdy place. Still enjoyed our visit.
The view of Lands End is the best. The servers were very peronable and attentive. The live band was never distracting and played nice background music. The food was cooked perfectly and everything was delicious.
I don't like leaving negative reviews but will make an exception here. The location is extraordinary but service was sub standard. Arrived at 7PM and got our drinks at 740pm. Staff was not attentive and would have made a boatload of money on drinks if they would have visited our table. In fairness. The appetizers were outstanding but that was it. We ordered "drunken octopus" but it arrived over cooked and chewy like shoe leather. In full disclosure, I was asked by the mgr how dinner was and I provided an honest opinion as described here. In all honesty I could give a good review
We had a very good experience considering it was a slow evening. The service was great, but a little more expensive than what the food was worth.
We booked through you only to find when we got there that the restaurant was closed!!! Shame on you for allowing a booking that could not happen. We had booked this as our last night in Cabo and had to look elsewhere on a very busy Friday night. Not to mention that thus was a special occasion as well!!!!
The surf and turf special was amazing.
12 Tribes is not open. It is represented as being open but it is under renovations. We should have been alerted to that since this was a special occasion. They put us in their diner type restaurant so it lacked ambiance. Yes, we had the 12 Tribes menu but it was a different restaurant and just plain and simple. I feel this was dishonest.
Food was pretty terrible all around- no one enjoyed their meal except for the kiddos (chicken strips). Service was slow- had to ask for menus, then ask for silverware, etc. Other than that- the view is gorgeous. I'd recommend having drinks there- but pass on the food!
The quality and presentation of all entrees were excellent. We ordered a pasta dish, steak dish, fish dish and a of course a Mexican dish and all were delicious. We sat under the palapa and enjoyed the view of lands end with a great meal and a few cocktails.
I selected this restaurant for the fantastic view of Lands End, which was even better than I had hoped. What surprised me was the attentiveness of the wait staff and the quality of the food. This dinner was one of the highlights of our trip.
