   Brandon was my server in the bar area and he was absolutely wonderful. From the Chicago location to now Oakbrook, Eddie V’s remains top tier with customer service and delicious food. The entire staff was welcoming, polite, and simply outstanding! I came for dinner and was made aware of the happy hour so I took advantage. The Rockefeller oysters were delicious!! Also, get the spicy margarita! Today was a special day for me and they made me feel awesome. Gave me a glass of champagne and a nice dessert. Can’t wait for my next visit!

   Our first experience at EV’s. Decor is upscale but very dark. We went for happy hour appetizers and drinks. Service was outstanding. Food however was overpriced and nothing special. We ordered tuna tartare, filet sliders, lobster bites. Other restaurants in the area offer better pricing, quality, and more delicious cuisine. Disappointing.

   My family and I celebrated Mother's Day at Eddie V's and it was phenomenal. The food was great as usual, the atmosphere was cozy and the service was outstanding. This was my wife and I third visit to Eddie V's. Our server's name was James aka Jimmy he made us all feel like we were special guests. He was very attentive, professional and kind. James made sure that my wife, mother and sister in law truly enjoyed their special day, thanks James. When you book your next reservation at Eddie V's make sure you ask for James his professionalism is outstanding.

   What a nice place. We had a pre Mother’s Day dinner and could not have been happier. James ( our server) was excellent! The ambiance, food, and drink were all excellent. We started with cocktails. I really liked the 24K cocktail. My husband had the one with the oil and liked it ( a little bitter for my taste) and one of my sons had the pomegranate mule ( also very tasty). We had the crab cake ( so much crab and very yummy), calamari ( very tender), steak tartar and caviar to start. I had the scallops and most everyone else had steak ( all excellent) For sides we had the brussel sprouts ( crisp with a very slight Sriracha), lobster mashed potatoes ( lots of chunks of lobster on top), and the crab fried rice ( all delicious) Then for dessert the crème brûlée and chocolate cake. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant but so worth it.

   Took my husband on a date and we had a great time. Amazing food, with live music, and an awesome waiter. We can’t wait to come back!

   Everything was great, except the table behind us was so loud and hijacked our whole evening. Way too loud, not the restaurants fault, but depending if people are celebrating something then have those loud type of tables closer tot he bar. Ruins the classy ambiance for those wanting to have a nice and classy dinner.

    The ambience was beautiful and our waitress Terre I believe that’s how you spell her name was the BEST! It was just a beautiful experience and we will be back.
