   It was a special occasion and I had requested a table by the window with a view. We were placed in a booth where only two of us had a view. We had to ask for a drink menu. The wait staff took a really long time to return to take our drink order apologizing that there was a problem with another table. Note that the main dining room was maybe 1/2 to 2/3 full. The wait staff was professional when in attendance. The calamari sticks were odd and not to our liking. Sorry if this sounds harsh.

   While the food is ALWAYS good at Ducey's, and the service is usually top notch, this time it was lacking just a bit. I don't like accumulating used bowls/plates on my table while I'm still eating. Pick up the dirty used ones to give me room on the table. When the reservation asks if there is a "Special Occasion", at least mention it to us. It was our 18th anniversary and it would have been nice for my wife to hear "Happy Anniversary" at some point. I don't need a free desert, just acknowledgement would be nice, you know? And I don't feel it's necessary for me to have to ask for refills and things like that. The waiter should be asking me. I don't mind dropping good $$$ for good food, but the service should match.

   Had a very nice meal for my wife’s birthday. Salmon and filet were both delicious. Lava cake for dessert was great. My wife enjoyed her dessert evening.

   Dined here several times in the past. Tonight was a rather significant disappointment. The menu has recently been changed, simplified , many previous items and choices have been eliminated and replaced with more basic items from the upstairs bar and grill menu. None the less, the main issue tonight was the 3, $47 7oz filets we ordered. We ordered them medium, they came out rare. Mistakes happen, it's how you react . We didn't want to send anything back because we just don't don't do it, but we sent the birthday girls back because it was beyond edible as served. I'm about 99% sure they stuck it in the microwave and put a fresh ladle of sauce on top , flipped the mound of mashed potatoes upside down and sent it back 10 minutes later, after the rest of us finished our meals. After cutting into the "redone" steak..... still raw/rare. We gave up, we're not he type to complain.... just won't return. I'm assuming the manager saw she want eating the steak after the 2nd attempt and did give a 50% discount on her plate which we thanked him for. The final kicker came when paying the bill. The bill included gratuity, normal for a group of 6 or more , we had 7. Again, no issue with gratuity as noted in menu as a 18% charge for a group our size.... however the charge was totaled at $59.48 on a subtotaled bill of 252.50. 23%??? I guess they got paid for the full price of the steak after all

   Ducey’s was excellent! Beautiful view of the lake. Great service, delicious food and reasonably priced. Spinach and artichoke dip was amazing with warm pitas. French onion soup and side salads were so good. Wife had the ravioli, that were jumbo sized and very tasty. I had the 12oz ribeye, it was cooked to perfection and really hit the spot.

   Easter dinner meal was good. The brussel sprouts is a must try. Service was great!

    Date nights don’t come often for a couple with six kids, so when we found a night to stay at the chalets for one night and have a nice meal at your establishment we were over joyed. However that turned to be a mistake. After ordering and waiting for our food a server accidentally hit me with the huge pepper shaker off of her try for another table, never even apologized even after I handed it to her. Then when our food came out my husbands ribeye was like he was chewing on his work boot! It was covered in brown mashed potatoes gravy and even after he ordered it rare it was well done. We ended up paying our bill and leaving our dinner there.
