The Drunken Oyster atmosphere will bring you into the Heart of the French Quarter, With the sounds you hear on the streets of French Quarter, Gas Lanterns, Heavy Drapes, aged Brick and Library laddered bar. The food is a compilation of Cajun Inspired dishes and fresh flown in daily Seafood and Oysters. The Drunken Oyster also Offers Aged Certified Angus beef Cuts. We had dinner here for our 33 anniversary. Excellent food, cocktails and service. We love this restaurant and will definitely be back. Get the fondue, it is amazing.

I loved the atmosphere! The food was good as well as the cocktails. The service was amazing! Vanessa was very attentive and knowledgeable. We will go back.

The host staff was absolutely delightful and very helpful and we were able to go to our table very quickly. Jessie L had already brought water and taken our drink and appetizer order by 7:15 and that was our reservation time!! We were only a couple minutes early so he was prompt, had a great disposition and an infectious smile. He was a very pleasant person and awesome mix of attentive but not overly aggressive! I’d say our experience was amazing and we’ll be back soon! Thank you

My husband and I decided to go to the Drunk Oyster for our anniversary. Neither of us had been before. We were pleasantly surprised at the experience as a whole. We had read the bad reviews and came prepared knowing that we too may have something to complain about. This did not happen. We were kindly greeted and taken right away to our reserved table. The ambiance was electrifying in the sense that everyone around us was enjoying their time there as well. We loved the darkened atmosphere and the candles on the tables. While a bit noisy, it still felt intimate and exclusive. I had the ribeye steak, zucchini with pesto, and the coolest curly fries I've ever had. My husband had the grilled scallops on top of asparagus and mushrooms risotto. We ended by sharing a bananas foster which was to die for! They make the ice cream in house and it was truly the best part of the meal for me. I also had a delicious blueberry and coconut mojito that complimented the meal very well. All of this was overshadowed by our awesome waiter, Alan. We have never experienced such an attentive, kind, and completely honest server. My husband asked Alan about certain dishes and asked Alan's opinion on the taste. He was open and honest about which dishes that we would enjoy according to our tastes. Alan was not annoyingly attentive but instead seemed to be able to read our minds when something was needed. He told us about the process that the Drunken Oyster uses to get the fresh seafood, saying that the scallops on my husband's plate had been alive just 3 days before. He assured us that nothing is frozen and thawed to prepare the meals. Alan made our experience amazing. He was genuine and I believe he truly cares about his customers. In fact, he told us that he worked for us instead of working for the restaurant. I have not seen that type of service in all of my 52 years. He is truly a gem.

The staff was fantastic, food was hit and delicious. We had a party of 7 and it was phenomenal.

Great waiter and generally good food - I got the Cajun Frittata and had to send it back due to raw eggs, they immediately made a new one and sent it to me. It was excellent food.

The server literally came to our table once. We even ran out of water. Poor service and super loud. My husband and I got on our phones instead of talking.

Pretty much everything went flawlessly. Greeted and seated right away. Waiter arrived in about 2 minutes and took drink orders. Ordered food which came out and was perfect. Overall great experience
