   The food has been way better in previous visits. The chicken was over cooked and chewy and the salad old and witty. We went on a Friday and the waitress said the kitchen had been slammed with an hour delay earlier. So I don’t think this was normal for them, but we were disappointed. And the noise is always too loud and echoing. Ruins the experience for us. They would do to at least add sound baffles on the ceilings and walls.

   Consistently the best TexMex in New Braunfels. Smoked meats, esp brisket, are a specialty and are always excellent. Elevated chiles rellenos are roasted instead of battered and fried and contain high quality ingredients such as brisket or smoked chicken. Queso, beans (both refried and charro) and margaritas are of superior quality to all others we have tried locally. Highly recommend.

   We got grilled redfish and Cabo Tacos with shrimp. The food was particularly good. The salsa was tasty and fresh. The chips were fresh and crisp without a lot of oil and salt. The beer was cold and refreshing. The new electronic ordering is great as drinks and food both arrived quickly. Staff were friendly and efficient.

   This restaurant has gone done in food quality while going up in price! The server did not get 2 of our 4 orders correct nor did he come back after we noted the mistakes. Food portions are also smaller than they used to be!

    Just ok -- service, food, ambiance. They did seat us ahead of the waiting list bc we had a reservation which was greatly appreciated.
